Well right now I am using a screwdriver to tighten the grip but one day I might put some Blue Loctite on my Jonny Boy Grips.
The transfer bar in the Ruger is absolutely great for people who like Fake SAA's
I have found that aiming this gun takes the fun out of it.
I keep my two Jonny Boys in TonyU Leatherworks Holsters. I got a TonyU Holster for my granddaugters Jonny Boy to.
It’s not LR bub. It’s long rifle.
.22LR stands for .22 long rifle.
@@northdakotaplinking9794oh, you do know that. Good. Whew.
nu uh, it's 22's Example: Hey RayRay wana go to the rang and shoot some 22's with me.
Ok guys this might kind of beside the point, but is it 'pop', 'soda pop', or coke ? lol
@@northdakotaplinking9794 Did you buy it at Cracker Barrel ? 🤠
( 😮 Drink 3.2 beer 🍺 and get farts with the Hersey squirts 😮 )
they putting on a good show , good capture
Thanks... may as well buy a tag next year if they're going to walk right into the yard like that 😂
@@northdakotaplinking9794 it would make for and easy meal that's for sure
My dad traded a remington 700adl for a glock17c back in like 2003. I would do anything to get that rifle back
That was my first pistol. Bought off a retired officer. A hollow scope and trigger activated laser. I removed the laser as too many of my uneducated friends liked squeezing the trigger to sight the laser.
Is that g2 glock ?
@@CalvinBlue-jl6sb That is a Sig Sauer Xten .10mm, also capable of firing .40 S&W.
Have you shot it at night yet?😍 Dragons like breath, it's been a few years but they like rapid fire 4sure but strip it down again and wipe all the oil out of you can then use graphite, polish the ramp prob wouldnt hurt , you will see night a day difference, I rarley used oil in my duce duces , I hope this helps brother
Thanks, I'll have to check out the graphite. Honestly haven't heard of a lot of guys using that but who knows...? Also, with that muzzle flash it's got to look crazy cool at night. lol
@@northdakotaplinking9794 the advantage is oil is gummy and gathers that powder, most pros arn't a lot of guys either lol just messing w/ you but yeah it's worked pretty good for me in my mark 1 ,597,and 10/22 , I hardly shoot powder any more but it's what I use on my duce duces
I wanted to ask you about something I just noticed at 3:18 and again at 3:25 while you were dry firing with the safety block on. Watch closely, and you will see that the cylinder rotated 1/8" off line from the barrel both times that the hammer fell. It clearly did not do this during your firing segment that followed. These revolvers seem to have a cylinder stop malfunction when dropping the hammer on the safety bar. I t doesn't appear to repeat itself when live-firing, but I thought I should at least make mention of it. I have 3 of these .22 Heritage revolvers, myself, and I have been able to duplicate this malfunction with mine as well. It does not do this when dropping on a cartridge ( I dry-fire with expended shells), but consistently jumps off the cylinder stop when the hammer hits the safety bar. I find this anomaly a little bit disconcerting, but doesn't interfere with proper chamber alignment on the following full-cock. I will tell you that I also did have a cylinder-stop malfunction in my brand new Heritage Big-Bore .357. It could slip backward about 1/32" at times, after engaging full-cock. I did not notice this until the 8th round I fired, when it shaved off a piece of the copper jacket of a .357 round, and it jammed in the cylinder-barrel gap. I discovered, later in my workshop, that the cylinder stop was just 1/64" wider than the notches in the cylinder itself, which allowed the slight backward drift of the cylinder. I had to reshape the cylinder stop to properly fit the cylinder notches, and now the action locks smoothly and firmly in each notch. The cylinder could have moved even more when it did malfunction, causing much more damage than it did! I just wanted to share this in case it saves you, or someone else, any damage or injury. Cheers!
As for the Heritage .22, the trigger, hammer/ hammer spring is what initiates the movement of the cylinder. If the hammer is not allowed to travel to its final destination, then neither will the cylinder. So it's not really a malfunction. Just the nature of the hammer block safety. But that is interesting about the .357 and cylinder stop...
@@northdakotaplinking9794 I know, I suppose I should just call it an 'anomaly' for this particular safety-bar design. I've had all of my firearms apart at one time or another, if just to polish up the rough spots that get missed during assembly. The .357 cylinder stop issue caught me off guard for certain. I had friend recently buy one, and that was the 1st thing I checked with his, before he even got it home, lol! His appeared to work perfectly in every regard, so maybe it was just my luck to have a glitchy one. I built my first revolver kit when I was 15. S&W DA revolvers seem to be the best out of the box, but are so damned expensive now.
I have TWO of these. Love them both. One is the same color as your in the video, but a shorter barrel. I replaced BOTH hammers with black ones to make the color scheme match better. But they work great, and a lot of fun to shoot. But I do NOT use them for my carry gun. I use a Taurus G3c for that. I had the Ruger Wrangler as well, but I sold it and got the two Rough Riders ONLY because they have the more cowboy look to them.
Cosmoline is a really thick rust preventor it solidifies over time. It shows that the manufacturer was really conscience of preserving the metal. Maybe it just needs a very thorough cleaning or different seeds. It's a dam sexy unit though! hope you get it figured out.
Thanks, I hope so too. Hope it's just a matter of cleaning, breaking in, right ammo etc. Fun unit when it's not mis-feeding. ha
2 Heritages 1 is the 6.5 the other is 4.3/4. Neither one is my goto just fun plinking with family cheaply. The 2 i have are before Taurus bought the company both manufactured in Miami Fla. I have looked at all the other budget 22's out there but for what I'm doing with mine the Heritage is my best option.
The Heritage Rough Rider is a kick in the pants, definitely a great value! By now I imagine you got that 22 WMR cylinder, and I already know you're enjoying it. I like my Rough Rider so much that last week I picked up a Heritage Barkeep, 3" barrel and birdhead grip. I put a 22 WMR cylinder in it, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites. Great content, you've got a new sub over next door in Montana!
Awesome 👍 Yep, I did a video after this one with the WMR... Great to get feedback from a fellow RR fan!
I have a wrangler with the 4.6 inch barrel I painted the front sight orange and using different 22s I can hit fist size steel plates at 20-25 yards no problem
My Gamo groups far better than that but it requires a gentle hold. A guiding hand on the pistol grip and an open palm for the foreend. Hold it too tight and its like a shotgun.
Break barrels are notorious for this. They need the "artillery hold"
Usually it's the very rare sight that has windage on it and sometimes it's elusive it might be a simple little Allen screw
Genius 😅
😆
You don't use all three open sites on a gun at the same time . . On Saturday gun right beside the sights it tells you the two that are for the carbine and the two that are for pistol . . . Nobody in their right mind uses all three sites at the same time . . I think it's more the person than it is the gun missing the target . . . I don't know where you learned to shoot a gun at . . . Is Scott Lil Wayne groovement by the sites that let you know one is for the pistol and one is for the carbine . . . But know where does it say use all three open sights at the same time . . Like I said I don't know where you went and learn how to shoot a gun but you didn't learn very well .
😆 🤣 😂 😆 I just read that entire comment in the voice of sling blade. First off, I wasn't using 3 sights at once. Watch the video! I'm either using the carbine set or the pistol. The angles where you see all three I am comparing them.... not actually trying to shoot with them.
Average COD players builds 😁😁😂😂
The gamo raptors are great in my .177 varmint. You get a nice sonic crack, they break the sound barrier every time.
How would you like to build your rifle? Him: Skyscraper
Does height above bore mean anything to you?😅
Long ass barrel
The front one can move from left to right
Its better then the mk1 fist! I carried mine for a year before I got a Sccy 9mm for 180$. Nobody wants to get shot and when the see a gun, its not like there're going to think "its only a 22! That won't stop me" ... and just like anything else, its all about training with it to become as effective as it can be! Stay Armed! Stay Safe! Stay Ready!
Im confused. Is this a pellet gun that identifies as a shotgun that identifies as a grenade launcher?
😆
I love a Hatsan, they are kind of the Kel tech of airguns. Barrel polish, de bur the transfer port, and clean ALL he factory lube out of the valve and trigger area. Also a very light polish on trigger. I love my Jet!
This looks like the most amazing air gun I've ever seen!!! 300 foot pounds and pump action! I don't think it gets any better than this. Word on the street is those HP max's get like 3000 seed plants before they even need any tinkering and even then it's just a simple O-ring. Also I can't believe how gorgeous that unit is.
Well done
Yup, pretty sure that 1250 fps rating game from GAMO . . . . . right? 🤣
Класс пушка!!!!!
No thanks, California.
Monstrosity
Is this an air rifle?
Yep... it's an AEA HP Max .45
@@northdakotaplinking9794That’s awesome imo
@northdakotaplinking9794 Nice. I got pretty close to getting a AirForce Texan SS, but got a CVA muzzleloader instead. Interested in .30+ caliber semi automatics and how far they've come.
@@Thecatholicchannel There might be a review of one of those in the near future. Stay tuned
Uuummm. No
Where do they eject at am I blind or is it just not visible?
Nothing ejects... it's a pcp gun. ha
Prolly left side
@@matv8944 Nothing ejects it's a 220 grain 45 cal pellet.
Huh that's weird I've never seen anything like that before
It's sort of a newer accessory to some of the bolt action pcps they have out there. Gun is actually a bolt, but the pump accessory fits over the bolt and turns it into a pump action more or less.
@northdakotaplinking9794 thanks ya for telling me sir I appreciate it
Where. Can you get that attachment@@northdakotaplinking9794
shut that gd music off. fuck
Got mine for $85 at Kittery Trading Post in Maine. Original box with the .22 mag cylinder also. Made in Miami, USA! Amazing pistol!
Great little .22 single six. I have one just like it. Bought it in 1998 at a local pawn shop in a velvet lined wooden presentation case. It was in .22 long rifle and also had the .22 WMR cylinder in a separate compartment. I paid all of $125.00 at the time. Has a manual safety as well as a hammer block safety. The bluing is still at 99% even after all these years of use and it still functions flawlessly.
Poor Pop Can didnt stand a chance.
Nice 22
Love the Heritage !
That last can was like nope.. not falling over lol
Right? Stubborn thing. ha! 😄
is this the cheap .22 from academy, if so is it quality?
It's the Heritage Rough Rider .22lr and magnum... it's a great revolver for the price. I've also done a couple long form reviews of this revolver on my channel.
The last shot and it's effect looked personal! 🤣😃
I knew I only had one left... had to make it count. ha
How damn u say VS to a steady target? Call a buddy and have him use the Shaving cream VS you with the gun...😂😅😅
Don't think I'll find too many takers on that proposition 😂
You just killed the dinosaurs...
Somehow I think they were already dead lol.
12 gauge: one shot and the concrete block is totally shattered ahah! I love the 12 gauge shotgun, a good beast! I have an antique 12 gauge shotgun still working. Nice video and channel, greetings from Italy!
Thank you, and great to hear from someone in Italy. We love the Italian made Benelli shotguns over here... great shotguns!
@@northdakotaplinking9794 thank you too! I'm happy to hear that you love Benelli over there! Also, I do have a Marlin mo.60 cal. 22L.R made in the USA. Nice jewel, it's like to have a little piece of America here in Italy! Great rifle, so much fun! 😀
