This is a first for KONE in 13 years since 2011 for installing escalators at MRT stations! It’s interesting to note that only this new segment(and the next) of the Thomson East-Coast Line(TEL) are using KONE, all other TEL stations are using OTIS.

Yup, similar to the 57 sole upgrade trains. The R151 also has this feature as well. It's great that all china-made NSEWL trains finally now are operating with one-step brakes alr, much better and less coasting
Yes, the C151Bs, C151Cs have all been using one step braking for several years now. 4 years ago in 2020, the C151As had one step braking too! Then all of a sudden it disappeared! Hopefully this one’s permanent.
If the C151A one step braking worked during the fixed block days, why can't it also worked during the improved and current CBTC days and for the better of the commuters who used this model frequently and that some may feel the train did not arrive the station in a 'complete' stop due to the very slow 2 step brakes. Hopefully this feature is fixed for once and make it 'fair and balance' for the KSF trains

Lift Hub installed this and modded the lifts, AutoPark only got the maintenance contract quite recently. The lifts were originally OTIS, modded by VM presumably a few years before enbloc. This mall was once Citimac Industrial Complex.
Okay thanks for the info, I had a classmate who worked on the installation and commissioning of the lifts here, but I forgot the name of the company he used to work at, and now I remember it.

At least the mod is not as blind as the Taman Rasuna mod where such a TALL Thyssen with green buttons (and the only of such with over 20 floors) gets killed off by a generic. These fixtures are more common for high rise installations which various places in China also have.
