I read the comments and wonder what video are folks watching?! The operative word here is WATCHING. Not on scene... don't know jack about about the site, type of structure, fire load, etc. You youtube firefighters are simply wonder people

Advice for these firefighters: Me give help since you no training. Spray big fire with water cannon and hose. Spray bottom of fire, not top. No stop spraying til fire gone. Spray little fire before make big fire. No spray where no fire. When fire small, go in house with a house and breathing mask. Spray stuff still firing. No let fire come back. No spray back of house from front of house. If fire back of house, go back of house, spray fire. I know scary in firing house, mommy not here hold hand. Do how me say, then no problem.

i dont know where to start with this. every aspect of this fire was a mess and not a regular mess but a hot mess. chief will no dought be the poster child for Cancer later down the road not to mention the complete failure to lead. if anyone has any updates as to what happened with this department or chief i would love an update. i would recommended a new chief and updated training.

I only hope and pray that no pets were in any of those houses.

Retired Full-timer. My first night as a Battalion Chief, I had this....3 structures, and an engine left the scene on a tow truck. More fun as a firefighter....Oh, one guy ripped up his hand, and another guy got in a fist fight. Good Time.

If there was still entrapment, there was definitely survivable space to VES.

Big fire needs big water hmmm

Well , that was interesting. Heavy fire blowing out every window if 2nd floor and two lines in driveway on D side. One has a chief waiting for water , the other is trying to save the unsavable . Meanwhile D exposure us taking tremendous heat and is igniting. They have no focus on D exposure just continue to spray water on fire that is evaperating most of it. Not even an attempt to gain entry to D exposure. Meanwhile the finally get deck gun in operation but ladder truck still not up and operational. That was your basic example of surround and drown. Now D exposure was going to get some damage. That was obvious, but if they concentrated on that building from the start the damage would have been much less. Main fire building was lost. Halfway through video and still no entry to D side exposure. WOW.
