You didn't unscrew the valve all the way before putting the adaptor on. No air could get in.

:D I can't think of a single thing that was done right in this video - the uneasy, cringy host, the ridiculously out-of-focus camera and the editing (why show the host at all if it obviously doesn't work). But I must say I love all of it and if you make an all-night movie I'd love to watch it. Haven't had so much fun in a while!

Thank you! I'm about to buy an indoor trainer and wondered whether I should use its skewer or the one in my bike and your video answers my question. I also appreciate the advice to use the trainer skewer rather than one's own, to avoid damage.
