Do you like to keep pipes the same diameter from collector to tailpipe or increase/decrease toward the tail pipe? I'd always heard as exhaust gasses cool, take up less space and begin to lose velocity as they get toward the tailpipe that stepping down in diameter can keep up velocity - it sort of made sense to me, but then again I'm no expert.😅

Marine versions are typically going to be designed around a constant source of new cool water. Something like say a Chevy 454 in a car is designed to run 40 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than in marine application. Yeah on paper oh wow it's way more powerful than stock. Although in this application you end up actually able to use less of its power. Worthless unless your going to brag camp. It's a cool project to figure out but ultimately futile original motor was better suited and usable. Semi trucks use drums still so, was and is a truck thing.

Worked on a house with a couple who owned one… it was always broken down constantly…. Towards the end they moved it away from the main house and put it right next to where the stonemasons set up shop on site rock chip central… the owner had constant new and rare cars and had clearly gotten fed up of the site of it 😂

2 Massive Radiator Fans. 4k-5k of CFM per fan. Then Vent the Hood and put a puller fan in the hood sucking all the hot air out.

I really feel like if I had practically any type of automotive issue I would feel super comfortable with having OJ handle it .

I was wondering about sound because I wanted to shorten my 12 inch resonators from 12 inches down to 4 or 6 inches so & then where should they be placed I'm looking for a little more sound but not crazy loud like if I completely deleted them

I'm a SoCal kid, in the 80's the family business was distributing Hayashi Racing wheels, so I knew about cars, and the LM002. Later on, we moved to north county San Diego where I drove through Camp Pendleton quite often. The first tine I saw a convoy of HWMMV's, I had no idea what they were and thought they were LM002s. Please do keep us up to date on what's up with this thing, coolant systems in one of those things a lot of people take for granted, yet run into problems when they do motor swaps, and I really am interested in hearing what the solution is for this one.

Its called a tuned pipe. We have used them for years on small 2 stroke rc engines to gain power.

Dealer price for this battery is $6K, not 12, and you can negotiate it down to around $2K. That dealer is a scam. There are shops that recover those batteries for $300-900, depending on the problem.

I did this on my s4 several years ago!! Make sure to add an inline fuse towards the compressor! There is a great spot to hide one under the windshield wiper cowl. There is a spot where the wires come out of the dash and 1 runs toward the compressor to activate the clutch. _My neighbor in the Biltmore, (Arizona) owned a brand new red LM002 in 1988. This Lambo was stunning, especially from the back right side with the sight of that bull and the name Lamborghini. (Back then it was probably a $120,000 vehicle, and in today's dollar that's equivalent to approximately $318,000 bucks)! A stunning example of a high-end luxury SUV. So it sounds like different people worked on this. A high end shop doing the fabrication and motor work, and then a different one sorting electrical and other details.

I think they ruined it. Hopefully they kept the front differential, axles and hubs somewhere. Imagine you could lose around 600 pounds by installing an LT4 or 5 and get better power-to-weight without the carbureted headaches.

Prototype had a V8 in the rear. Rambo Lambo. Sad fact. Soldiers blew one up in 2004 that belonged to Uday Hussien. Wish it could have been preserved. But i get why they did it. Great content, never seen a swap like that !!! The engine plaque basically says "flush the coolant at the end of each season "
