Hey, there was no import cost, it was included in the price for Fanatec gear and TrakRacer is UK-based anyway. I’m not too sure on the cost of exporting it out if it’s faulty as I haven’t sent anything. I would however note Fanatec’s customer service isn’t the greatest, but their products seem to be pretty well built and I haven’t had any real problems. Hope that’s of some help! :)

Hello! In a League? I’m not sure, there’s not many rental ‘leagues’ that I’m aware of really. The closest things to try are TeamSport’s Grid Events and maybe KNE in Sunderland do a Championship throughout the year which is good fun, but I’m not sure about the age. Alternatively there’s Club 100 which have proper rotax karts and have races all around the country, but again, not too sure on age

There are no screw holes on the top, So it would have to be mounted upside down which I’m not sure if you can do due to the calibration. Maybe have to check with Fanatec

Hey Lenso, it’s pretty heavy at 80-90kg. Although it’s fairly compact and slim. It has rubber feet on the bottom so I’d maybe look if you can get some caster wheels for it maybe?

​@@MattWildbore Yes if you can take a look if caster wheels can be screwed to the rubbers if they are stiff enough ? Thank you. Otherwise I will have to look at other rigs that are 60 centimeters wide to pass doors as the tr8 pro does and which are compatible with caster wheels. The problem is that aluminum profile rigs looks too wide to pass doors.

@@MattWildbore i got 52 seconds on 6 laps today, adjusting 2 specific turns & powering before the apex in certain areas made a massive difference, felt really satisfying applying your tips on the track, thanks bro

Hey Dean, thanks for watching :) I use the helmet chin strap too and just make sure the GoPro is pushed all the way back so it looks like it’s almost looking too far up (if that makes sense). Other than that, make sure the GoPro is on the widest lense setting. Hope that helps :)

Hey Adam, yes, drove those for the first time a couple of weeks ago actually. They're definitely comparable, however I would say that the ProKart is more linear in it's power delivery, whereas the DMAX's have that mid-power band pickup. Handling wise, the ProKarts are a lot more nimble and pointy

In kart 9 kart 11 had alot of straight line speed

Nice, yeah a lot of people struggle with those. T4, short hard brake, turn in heavily into the corner and then unwind the steering as you accelerate off. You can just lift off and throw it in - I'd try that and then bring in a little brake if you feel it's over driving. Haha, with your hands, that's just getting use to it. I'd try to loosen your grip on the wheel and push the steering wheel more than pulling it

@@drunkmonkey4486 Haha, that'll just come with practice. Every other Wednesday evening at 6pm is a sprint open race which is competitive and it'll help you following the faster drivers :)
