- At Hull Karting on this beautiful evening for a 100 lap race where I manage to smash my old PB time of a 51.56 and get a 51.001 which is currently registered at the Fastest Lap at Hull Karting on the timing system! So close to the 50s times!

Hull Karting has once again provided a fantastic open race event - nearly 2 hours and 100 laps later, it's safe to say all the drivers were pretty exhausted.
I managed to take home the 1st place and score this new PB.

I've definitely improved over the last few months and my pace at Hull Karting has become quicker and quicker, allowing me to stick with the top drivers around this circuit.

Hey Matt! I went karting at that place today and got 53.8!!! I couldn't believe it and I was so happy with myself since I'm 11 like I said hahah! I came first in my session aswell! Great lap. 👍

@@jacklister962 Yeah it’s great. There’s obviously a leaderboard now, and shows you how many total laps you’ve done and distance travelled.
No full video for this one. Just racing on my own for the majority of it so wouldn’t be much to see. I may do an overtake highlights video on it though.
@@MattWildbore Wow that sounds brilliant! God me and Tyler have probably done near enough 10,000 laps in total. I doubt they'll know what all our pb's are so it'll all be reset im guessing?
Yeah thought that would be the case setting those times 😅 Could you get a clear string of laps in or too much traffic?
@@jacklister962 Haha yeah I bet! Reset at the min but think they should add your times back on.
A good few strings of laps in places. Without traffic, I was averaging 51.2’s - 51.3’s, think I had 40+ laps below 51.5’s, so fairly consistent :)

You should maybe try and get down on the Saturday 50 / 100 Lap race or the Wednesday Opens for some competitive races :)

@@isaac.formula12 Yes Isaac, I’m usually at every Wednesday Open race (6pm and 6:30pm - held every other week) and usually I do every other Saturday. One Saturday will be a 50 Lap Race, the week after would be a 100 Lap race, usually at 5pm. So I do one every other week of those too :)

Can't really tell, but was that flat out round the first bend? Mad that.
Hey mate, yes it’s completely flat through there. Quite easy to do once the kart is warm. Flick the steering in quite hard initially and then naturally straighten it out making a nice arc around turn 1>turn 2 :)

@@MattWildbore ah fair enough , it was pretty fun to be fair only my second event since I started in November and after the third one when I got a 24.013 (my Pb) i just couldn’t seem to get any quicker unfortunately 😂. If they are no good any clips with me in them would you be able to send me ? My insta is the same as my CZcams name . Cheers
