- I'm sure I broke a bone. T-Boned at 30mph! WTF?! OUCH!
We're here for a the Santa Kart event at TeamSport Karting in Hull which will be the last race before the new year. A full grid with the majority of drivers in the top 10. An extremely quick and tough session keeping up with these guys.
Managed to qualify 4th on the grid and an incident occurring on the first lap knocks us down to 7th and then onto the biggest crash I've had in karting - completely t-boned by another driver... yeah, that one hurt a bit!
Congrats to Dean Gwatkin who won the race on the night and smashed the lap record with a 23.684! Crazy!

Hey Alex, 10 laps or 10 sessions? Definitely a solid time and shows potential to get into the 24s quite easily I imagine. For reference I think my first time here I got a 25.4. If you’d like to improve, come down to one of the member nights on Thursdays (you’ll need to sign up), there’ll be a few people to help you including myself :)
@@MattWildbore In 10 sessions I got to my time, I usually go every other week, my brother goes to cadets and doesnt like it when i copy him 😭 so unfortunately i can't thanks for offering hope to see u there one time!

Just the indoor lighting - the camera makes it look darker than it is :)
Jacks a right legend , a month ago I did 2 15 minute sessions and no one was booked on after so he offered to take me round just me and him to help my try break the 25’s which I thought was real nice of him.

@@MattWildbore last Thursday I did a members event for the first time and managed to get a 24.098 which puts me 16th fastest so I was quite happy with that , the fastest lap was set as well that night the kid was flying round the circuit it was as if he had a turbo on his kart 😂but I finished 5th out of 9 so for my first event I don’t think that’s to bad
