I don't get the soap - gasoline metaphor?! I use a very good quality beard soap on a daily routine. No sodium lauryl sulphate, just shea butter, jojoba oil, coconut butter. My beard is top notch.

So you let everything grow down to the "shelf", and just use the hovering technique to trim flyaways. When it looks very chunky and square this way, it is hard to strike a balance between a too-square ("cartoonish") look and a more natural one. It's either "he tried too hard" or "didn't try hard enough." And this is how I trim at home-- no hotel required!

The tattoos on this generation are so ridiculous. Wallpapering their body with them? A popeye anchor on the arm? At least all the generations before this one were sensible and wise enough to only choose "removeable" and temporary fads.

Love your videos, in fact you help me wanna be able to trim by my own and not go to the barber all the time. Two questions: 1. I've heard many people (especially some youtubers) warning for getting rid of stray hairs regularly and "trimming the hedge" when you're growing it out? Making it growing out thin? What is your take on that? Cause I see you do it almost every time? 2. Do you recommend to trim the beard under the mustache to get it more separated if that is what you're going for? Are the beard at the corner of your mouth part of the mustache? I usually end up trimming it shorter cause it's not part of the upper lip and feels like it weakens my mustache over all not making it as thick. I decided to do no shave November, I kept getting comments on my beard and was persuaded to keep it lol. I’m 37 and just discovered how nice and full my beard is. Wish I would’ve discovered this waaaay earlier lol

Whats the downside to having a wider clipper head? More length gives straighter line etc. Just a thought.

What is your opinion on laser hair removal on the cheeks and on the neck(so your beard is forever defined and therefore not needing to shave those areas)? Is it a viable option?

Your beard looks best in the video for beard lineup. Short and defines your face shape much better than long beard.

The title is "how to fade your beard at home" but the video is, "go to the barber and get someone else to fade your beard". Would make more sense to see instructing someone that is fading their own beard.

Is it just me or is his jawline somewhat shining through from 20:00 onwards? I think that is the tricky part of that style it isn't just a triangle pointing downwards but also somewhat forwards. Which is probably easier done in the computer than with real hair (without applying excessive products)

I once grew amazing beards throughout my 30s, now 39. I got a couple grey hairs so i pulled them out, now i got ugly arse big white patch come through it's like i started the process of spreading it,. Cursed myself, depresses me each day looking at it. Debating to dye but the rate it grows the roots will be grey more each day
