Great advice and video. All of my dashboard ABS /steering angle sensor/traction control lights remaining on were resolved, as soon as I renewed the heavily corroded N/S/R abs sensor ring. The system simply corrected itself when I took it for a mile roadtest.

Brother, I have a problem with the ABS, the light comes on but also the unit does not work. The diagnostic shows a problem with the unit, but maybe I should look at something else before replacing the unit? The vehicle is the vw bora. Thank you very much and be healthy

You are correct the go up under the pannel u said then the rear line goes up drivers side front pillar along length of the roof to boot then turns off to the left to centre above the rear window 😅 happened to a mates 👍

Ledgend my egr has coded me twice gota do this 😅will it work with a diesel cayenne how can u tell if it’s pneumatic side or electrical side though as couldn’t it be the solenoid side also? As it operates electrically and pneumatically on my car

Hello brother, my A14XER is smoking non stop the mechanic has changed the rings and the head has been serviced replacing all the seals and guides to no avail. Can swop the engines and use the Z14XER instead?

i get a message "check stop and start". cannot get the mesage to go away and the stop and start button stays on red in the car.

I was working on a merc GLA which had 2 wires running INSIDE of the rubber washer pipe. I'm guessing it was for the heated washer jets on the bonnet.

just did a 2017 focus belt.....for those with newer cars, almost the same as this but there is a wire attached to the retractor. the clip to remove the wire is a small squeeze clip. small fingers or pointy nose pliers will do it. its tiny tho, only about 6mm wide, but everything else is the same. never done one but with this video and half an hour, wasnt an issue and ive never done one before. i tried removing the wire clip before i removed the retractor unit, but coz ive not done one, i couldnt see the squeeze clip for the wire plug, but no dramas carfully removing the retractor unit out 10cm to spin the unit over to see the clip. i did however remove the negative terminal instead of the program thingy, and as ive changed battery in the past, there is a time period of driving where the computer is resetting and the car runs like a vw beetle under accelleration, but the computer does fix this after just a few minutes, maybe half an hour of driving. its normal for this. its not a problem and resolves itself as described in other videos, especially battery removal videos for the 2017 focus. the battery removal for these cars is a nightmare and the designer needs to be put in gaol for this dumbass job. took me 25 minutes to change the seatbelt today and it took over 2 hours to remove and replace the battery....do not attempt battery removal without at least watching the focus battery removal video. but thats another story.

Mercedes Aclass 2018 owner, on this it's controlled by an auxiliary battery in the cabin, it will throw up a Pull over and Check Manual msg. Pain in the arse system I just turn off anyway 😅

There's no way on this planet that your Abs sensor will come out like that! I've recently done this job and probably fcuked it up... my ABS sensor light is still on but I did use stupid eBay sensors?
