Yes, you can use it to activate the AUX menu if your OEM interface doesn't have it.
I have this same device but the knob isn't working in car play and the voice button on the steering wheel isn't activating Siri. did i skip something in the installation? only volume controls are working.
Do the knobs work properly in the Android interface? You can try to test it by selecting another protocol within the Android screen factory settings.

I just installed yesterday. And I am not getting audio. I tried the AUX cord and nothing. The optical fiber cord is connected good. It played music one time after I turned the car off it stopped again

Yes, the video is great. It's just that his product has a hard time installing the SIM card after the installation is complete. Whereas the PEMP has the SIM card on the top of the product, ready to be dialed out or inserted.

@@whoisthezator Yes, Android boot time is taking 30-40 seconds. It's unavoidable. But you can set it to show the OEM screen every time you boot. It might help you. Of course another way is to buy a Linux product which takes only 5 seconds to boot. @@brunocrolli3917 Android autof's maps can't be hidden, it's up to Google. We can't change it. You can try to find out how to hide it in your phone settings.

No need. Yes, the car have the aux plug maybe it must has the aux option.
@@pempcar it 100% doesn't have the aux option which is why I'm confused, it has an aux input about an inch to the right of the dvd input which I've never seen on any of the videos when I look up the 06 525i but I don't know what else that input can be because an aux cord fits perfectly in there, it just doesn't have the aux option

Yes, when you activate it, be sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to step 4. Step4: (important )!! After activation, keep connected, wait for 5 seconds, then turn off and lock the car and let it sleep for 15 minutes. Disconnect the negative pole of the car battery for another 1 minute and then connect it back. Then get on the car and check the aux audio was display, if the aux audio also display. It has stored your AUX AUDIO menu.

Yes, Linux can also do CarPlay with Android auto functionality; it's just that it can't install any software like CZcams or map APK. android screen has built in GPS navigation and you can plug in a 4G SIM card to get internet. If you just want CarPlay functionality, linux is more cost effective.

I have a C250 2013, When I change it to AUX it doesnt play any sound from ZLINK, if I leave as Bluetooth and change it in Spotify, I can control Spotify though ZLink and play it, but I always have to change to MB Bluetooth. When it is in AUX, no sound is played at all.

You can restore the factory settings by clicking Recovery in the System info menu. If touch is not available, you can try using a mouse plugged into the USB port and you will surely be able to select it successfully.

Yes, this part is for C-Class W204. Please note that if your car is NTG 4.0, please use the LVDS box with NTG 4.0, otherwise it cannot display OEM display info.

@@pempcar yes, thats will do nicely. thats the one thing about aftermarket stuff, they tend to make the car look non factory and sloppy with things hanging out of everywhere. we can lose that g4 box too or place it in a less conspicuous area. thank you
