I was disfellowshipped and no one reached out only my childhood friend. When one of my family member got out people begged him to come back.. when my friend also left they did the same.. I was crushed cause that tells me no one gaf about me and actually felt relieved they didn’t had to pretend to like me. I learned that just cause people are religious don’t mean they’re friendly and kind…I tried my best but wasn’t all in it tbh cause I didn’t like the way their rules were and I was always trying to be good to people there and helping them but because they viewed me as weird they just talked shit about me… so I’m glad I got out.

"You have to have faith." I heard that a lot, too! That caught my attention, when you said that, and I was engrossed. I see parallels in regards to you journey and mine. A key difference is I didn't have the internet to see the cracks. I wish I did. I was born into it, which is something the elders couldn't seem to wrap their heads around. The psychological ramifications are incredible. I left at 16, but I would return to the religion at sporadic intervals during key ages in my life- 21, 27, 30, and 35 years of age. just to understand why about everything. How are you supposed to convert the very people you are supposed to hate? And every single time it got more interesting because the message hadn't changed since I was a kid with questions.

So sad that people can look directly at the scriptures and still deny it.

Praise God! There are hundreds of brothers and sisters been brainwashed! I can tell you some very scary things! And when I asked questions I was badly accused and abused! 😢 But getting PPL to believe what is going on, is not easy! I was told to leave and never come back! Nothing was done! Can't have any civil discussion with my mother about anything involving her JW beliefs. I asked her is it wrong to have religious beliefs that weren't hers and make an effort to be a good person. She couldn't answer. Because in her eyes, anyone that doesn't believe what she does isn't good, no matter how much you try to improve your life. I am going no contact with her. It'll honestly do me more good to just do that.

OMG I faded a few years ago. My son, who is now 26 had questions. This is a very informative video. My congregation was family. After my dad's passing last year. My divorce from a "witness" who cheated on me for 19 years of out 25 year marriage. I know I made the right decision. My outlook on life. My outlook on people has changed. I have more appreciation for God. I love life and people more. My life is exactly where it needs to be.

They used to knock at our door and explained they were J. Witnesses, when I got older around 11 or 12 yrs old my folks were gone shopping and they popped by while I was watching Wrestling. I didn t know these people so did not let them in but didnt want to miss Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant!! I realise JWs dislike Catholics more than other Christians. But it has to be said that (historically, organically, ecclesiologically, liturgically) the Catholic Church is the ORIGINAL Church. As the original church, she can trace her existence back to the time of the apostles themselves & early Church fathers. Period. The Catholic Church is for ALL Christians, at ALL times & in ALL parts of the world. I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness. My grandfather, uncle and my father were all elders in the Jehovah’s Witness congregation. I suffered sexual abuse at that same uncle’s hands throughout my entire childhood. It was covered up by the entire family. The same family who has shunned me for 30+ years because of coming out as a gay man. I think it’s time my story and other stories like it are heard..

Jws are just soo hurtful! My entire family lives in the trailer park I live in and not one of them will even acknowledge me!! Jw kingdom hall is across the street..but not one of them will knock on my door..I am here! I am a human..but not in their eyes. Hi , i grow up in a family of JW members(in the philippines), my dad is an elder(sadly died from multiful organ complication *doctor said he got 1 week to live and it came true* 2011 after we visit a hospital) . My elderly mom(60y/o) still a solid 101% JW despite all the negatives happening in the world. I have a baptized brother who is now no longer attending meetings reason being in dubai country *working(get unemployed due to covid)/ gambling addiction(have debt.* We use our house as a collateral to an jw elder to help us pay the debt)/heartbreak etc. But now as i typing this thankfully he is now a clean man(he said) and applying a new job in dubai.) And me a unbaptized and now just a male human who stop jw studyinh because of the pressure like you said. I just want to say that even though i stop studying or attend meetings or doing door to door sharing. I 100% still believe that Jehovah(Yaweh) is our God's name and still pray when i had the chance. Because there is only 2 option, 2 choices , true or false, etc. Is it's either you choose to believe it or not YOUrselves. I have no negative comments nor thinking about what you experience or what you say in this video, because we did not experience it ourselves what are happened in the bible contents. And for those topic you said about the organization about lies and abuse etc. I totally agree but running away/choose to escape that problem or any other problem is understandable for their part. Because some question dont have answers unless we experience it ourselves. Thank you for sharing your experience. We all know that we are not a perfect beings and this problems happening in or out in the jw org. are because we all sinned. where can I see these court cases you saw?? my family member has been a jew since she was 17. she is 70yrs old now and so dedicated...but our family never get to have her at so many family gatherings. Even if someone important in our family had passed away or was very ill she would not cancel a JW meeting or conference. I think she needs the security of this organization..I dont know what she would be if she didn't have them.

Yeah yeah yeah. If you dig deeply, you’ll find out that all churches have or had some sort of issues in court. I think you spend too much time worrying about something when you could have been focusing why other religions are wrong and how JW ARE had have been the only religion that ushers Gods names. I am no where near a witness, I just left a life of sin. However, I DO study the Bible everyday. I not only read the NWT, I use the Geneva bible(1599) and the original scriptures in Hebrew and Greek. As far as the Bible goes, JW are the most accurate.

Where I come from an Elder is at least 60 because they have Life Experience.

The lawyer is a liar and represents Satan like all JW’s are and do. The millions of people this org has destroyed, used and extracted financial security from is on a scale larger than communism- the sexual abuse is now becoming apparent.
