  • Jehovah's Witnesses will use any excuse they can think of to pardon the actions of the Governing Body and elders. Yet at the same time, this is an excuse they would criticize someone else for using. Here are some tips to help you reply to this typical response.

I cannot thank you enough for the efforts you have put forth into not attacking, but gently clarifying. You have a good heart. I am glad you are also no longer a part of this hurtful organization. I’ve needed so badly to hear these words from you, even though I have been “out” for ten years now.

I got the same stupid excuses about imperfect men and the light gets brighter when I spoke to the elders and they also tried to put it on me asking "are you perfect and always right"? To which I replied "no I'm not perfect and always right however I don't claim to get my information directly from Jehovah and Jesus and claim to be anointed to be heading his one true religion and sole channel of truth so your comparison is ridiculous" and their brains shut down sending them scrambling for another topic changing question and scripture.

An excellent description of the way JWs view the governing body and its teachings. I believe that their teachings have the same effect on JWs as superstitions have on other people in that they don`t really believe in them but feel they have to follow them for fear of something bad happening. In my experience as an elder in the past there were many in the congregation that just went with the flow never really closely looking at what they were being told and certainly not doing any research. Their main motivation was fear of being destroyed at Armageddon or the more imminent threat of being shunned by all their "friends" and and any family that were JWs. Today they would be referred to as PIMOs and since the governing body has come out from behind the curtain the number of these have increased as they see what these men are really like. However the handcuffs of shunning prevents them from making the move out. However as the ramblings and demands of the governing body become more outrageous this could change.

100% true for 70% of Jehovah's Witnesses. 20% are those who need to be framed by a rigid structure to feel safe and the remaining 10% will be the most radicalized, they will follow the 8 Warwick gurus until hell (it's coming soon).

Great explanation. I was born in 1972 and quit in 1997. All the talk about the gibbering body is weird to me. When I was in the anonymous "Society" was the thing in charge. We kind of knew who Fred Franz was but that was it. My 78 year old mom has been JW for 60 years and she conducts Bible studies but she never ever lets her religious handicap prevent her from making good decisions. Hell, I've been disfellowshipped for over 20 years and she lets me stay with her sometimes and has never ever judged me. I would never tell her she's wrong or is doing the wrong thing. I remember having a chat with my dad, he was going to be a circuit overseer at age 26 when mom got pregnant with me. He said he actually regretted baptizing people. "There's nothing I can do about it now." I remember him baptizing a couple in a bathtub once in the 70s. This religion really screwed people up.

When I was a child, my father was the guy that everyone in the bar feared and would beat up people for looking at him the wrong way due to his anger issues. When I reached my early teens, he suddenly converted to being a Jehovahs Witness and dragged us along. This led to him stopping coming home drunk and beating my mother and they appear happier. So although ive never been a beleiver, I always kinda defended the organisation and its people as i knew it done my parents good.
But when i expressed that i didnt want to carry on attending the Kingdom hall and go around the doors. Thiis was met by "Well lets all go back to how things were before then!", thus emotionally blackmailing me into carrying on going. In hindsight I can see that this was because my father was putting himself on a soapbox and being holier than though. So he didnt want his old friends who were saying he's never last at it knowing that his own son doesnt even beleive in it.
We were sent to school being told that we must tell everyone that we are proud JWs. This made my school years hell. It did however teach me to stand up for whgat i beleive. But i didnt beleive. So I had no convincing argument and i was forbidden to use violence, something i was forced to do previously. It was hell and although i didnt beleive in ressurection, I left school genuinely beleiving that it was pointless to pursue a career as we would be soon damned by nuclear apocalypse.
I was forced to leave home at 15 because the elders told my parents that i was a vassal of satan, only doing what im doing just to test THEM. I just wanted to live my own life in peace. But they were just constantly full of judgements.
For years, I heard them boast about how successful their marraige is and how so many others are doing it wrong. How the Nuclear family is so important.
A few years ago when i split with my childs mother, i near enough begged them to help me resolve things and get to see my daughter as i was in a frenzy at the time. Had they obliged, things would probably be so much betyter today. But they were more interested in telling the rest of the world how theyre doiung it wrong whilst standing on the street with their little cart.
Enough was enough. This organisation had already once drove a wedge beween my family and I and now they had done it with my child. Since then I have reflected a lot and realised that i could have really done better in life had it not been for their bulls@#t teaching of how pursuing a career was never gonna be worth it as "Armageddon" is just around the corner. This is fearmmongering child abuse and i really hate this organisation for that. Dont be a lawyer or scientist they said. Be a builder. yeah, so that they can get free labour iin building their churches. They should be banned.
Now that I came out as Transgender a year ago, they try to pretend im mad because if they accept im serioud then they have no option but to completely disown me because its the corner theyve boxed temselves into.
This organisation should be banned before it destroys any more lives. Although by me saying so, im sure their self important asses will tell themselves that its the devil who wants them banned just like they play the martyr with the holocaust. They werent persecuted because they werfe right. They were persecuted because nobody likes self righteous cunts.

As as faded witness My Son went through a transgender stage for six months. My Wife is a witness is a 100% never questions anything or doubts whatever it say must be true (sadly)
Because my Son is not a witness the is nothing they can do but some got in touch with the Bethel.
Which is concerning as they viewed that we were supporting him and it was suggested that we ask him to leave our home my Wife was in agreement.
Didn't happen never going to happen how can you ask a young person to leave home or even consider doing that.
ATM it's all gone quiet on that front the Elders are inhuman. Mind you it all depends on the Alpha male in the group what he decides goes and any other in the group of elders especially new ones who are not experienced are to frightened to say anything unless they are removed.
Sadly it's all about position and ego and love is just something that gets talked about on a Thursday and Sunday.

The 3 Elder's actually laughed at me during my judicial committee for me saying "I'm not perfect and trying my best here." For some reason they took offense to that and I still don't know why they reacted in such a way. I knew I was cooked right then and there at the start of it.😅 And you know what I was disfellowshipped for? Making out with a chick outside of the organization with my clothes on twice. I used the term grinding but felt nothing etc. And could of kept this all secret but came forward myself. Meanwhile they got those that go inactive then come back married to a "worldly person" with not even a slap on the wrist because they are family members of Elders. And my congregation had a father & son on the Elder body which should never be a thing either imo..
They will target you if you actually use bible principles instead of the precious man made rules they enforce on the sheep (Elder's Book etc). It's all about connections & keeping up appearances that matters most that's for sure.

My congregations PO gave me shit for having my arm around my fiance in the presence of her mother. I laughed at him. When I eventually got called before a judicial committee it was because I was seen shooting pool with a disfellowshipped friend. I read the scripture in Proverbs about a friend sticking closer than a brother and said are you guys my brothers in this situation then? I brought my friend to the meeting but they wouldn't let him in. The chairman was a friend of mine and he looked like he wanted to cry. I told him c'mon Danny, all you're doing is going to make life difficult for my wife. But he had a job to do. I told my mother in law I was getting df'd and said nothing would change for me. She cried and said "if I have to choose between you and JEHOVAH I have to choose JEHOVAH." When I used to tell these stories to regular people they were like WTF is wrong with these people??? In a perverse way I kind of miss the association, the feeling that you have the world by the balls, but by the time I quit (not for personal reasons, but because I'd actually researched watchtower claims) it made me do physically sick I couldn't go to meetings anyone. What a very strange existence JW is.

Why would Jesus appoint elders that are child molesters and then leave them in that position for years and years? This religion made us all crazy, thanks for giving us our sanity back! If you have not seen it watch JW Struggle video, "Blinded by New Light" music video. It came out years ago when the overlapping generations new light was presented. Not that it is a bad thing it is just stunning to me, to see that this tone of voice, pitch or what ever you call it, is so ingrained in us. all 3 languages i have watching these videos in have it in common. I left the JW in 1979 and I still suffer from the effects of being misled and I have a hard time trusting any man when it comes to religion, I left because I read my bible and found out about the wonderful realization that Jesus is very important ...He was not an Angel( Michael the arc Angel ) he was so much more and I always loved him and saw him as the salvation needed for Man, the JW discarded his role as the very important God head for us all. Now I love Jehovah, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and worship them as one. I loved many who were JWs and I pray they discover the Truth, My husband loved me and tried to listen to me about the witness but it just not ever stick with him, we have been married for 52 years still in love as defined by Jesus Thur his Father and I am thankful he did not listen to me as I was a zealot for JWs, we both however are still looking for a church family. I call myself a ragamuffin but I would love to know where the true church is 😢 😢😢

Hi and thank you for this video ( and all the ones before, as well ! ). You are doing a wonderfull job debunking, explaining Watchtower and showing clear exemples of their unbelievable foolishness. I used to be an non-baptised publisher for years, but last year, I started to examine the organization's history more closely, and after what I have discovered that horrified me, I left the JW's. I still believe in God and the Bible, but I must struggle hard to get rid of some of their teachings that have been prooved wrong, but have been seeded so deeply for a long time into my mind, that it makes it difficult to do so.
I was wondering if you did ( or will do ) a video that covers the Watchtower's 10 years association with the UN as an NGO and all that it involved ? I don't remember if you talked about it in a previous video. Since going to bed with Satan's political savage beast of the Bible is not a cheap issue on the WT, there is plenty of things we need to be explained about it. Your videos are really helpfull. Thank you again.

I was raised a JW, knocked on doors gave a speech at 13. Went to all the circuit and district assembly's. My favorite things of the assembly were the Dramas and the bags of fruit. 🍑
Lots of comradery because...well, we couldn't associate with anyone else.
Here's part of my testimony and I pray it helps someone.
In my late teens I left the JW's and went wild in the world. That wasn't my plan but after my first number of grand mistakes I just blocked out God. I never quit believing but just couldn't face God.
In my 30's I met my wife and we started going to her Baptist church. I went to the altar and was baptized.
I felt good about confessing that I was a sinner in need of a saviour but that wore off and I was back in my sins. Still going to church I decided to go upfront again and confess I had backslid. I got baptized again.
Well...once again those same sins plagued me again. I knew I needed forgiveness but still wanted those things of the world.
Long story short, at 55yrs old I was just sick of myself. I decided to fast and truly seek God. On the third day I got on my knees alone. I had (during) the fast ...forgiven anyone I had something against. I asked some people for forgiveness and confessed (Every) sin I could remember to God. Even every hidden evil or blasphemous thought. I met Jesus on my front porch. I felt and saw brightness while bawling. I then felt the weight of sin come off me.
Some amazing things happened after that but that's not why I'm leaving this testimony.
Jesus can forgive you anywhere! anytime!
The Holy Spirit can fill you and teach you without someone from a certain denomination.
I'm going through my own search for a group of believers in my area. I do believe in gathering together though I won't settle with a church that denies the gifts of the spirit or teaches a different doctrine than what I can read for myself.
    PS;
The blasphemous thoughts I confessed we're thoughts that plagued me when I tried to pray or when in church.
It was terrible. I would be in the middle of listening to the pastor or singing a song and an evil/blasphemous thoughts would just pop up in my mind. It tormented me that I must be the most wicked person...
Turns out that after another fast Jesus delivered me from an unclean spirit.
I used to bite my nails til they bled. I did that all my life.
After my deliverance, I have peace. My nails are now normal, my prayers are not hindered.
Get right with God now. He will meet you where you are.

If Yeshua kept the law and he was perfect, then why don’t “Christians’ Keep it?
Why did the apostles gather for “Old Testament” Feasts such as Pentecost and other Feasts After the Resurrection?
If the church is not Y’Israel then why do they claim all of her blessings and promises from the “Old Testament??
How could something come to an end if it is Everlasting?
How could the definition of sin change
If the law had already been fulfilled by Yeshua dying on the cross then why did Paul say he HAD TO get to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover and observe the Feast days
If Yeshua “Broke” the sabbath then how can he be the sinless sacrifice for us??
Why did Peter STILL refuse to eat anything unclean even though Yeshua said “All foods are clean”??
The Sabbath is observed from Genesis to Revelation. The Apostles nor anyone in all of scripture did away with the 7th day Sabbath.
Yeshua said “the Sabbath was made for Man” (not only Jews) in Mark 2:27.
It is recorded in the book of Acts they kept the Sabbath 85 times! Why keep the Sabbath?
It points us back to the Creator: Genesis 1-3
God/Yahweh created the Seventh day as the day of Rest: Genesis 2:2-3
    It's the Fourth Commandment: Exodus 16 & 20
Yahweh wrote it with His own finger in stone: Exodus 16 & 20
It's a symbol of our salvation: Exodus 31:17
We are to remember that Yahweh delivered us from sin: Deuteronomy 5:15
    It remains today: Hebrews 4:9
Jesus/Yeshua is Lord of the Sabbath: Matthew 12:8
The Apostles kept the Sabbath -- Recorded 85 times in Acts
    It's Yahweh's seal of authority: Exodus 31:17
    It's a blessing: Revelation 22:14
It will be kept forever: Isaiah 65:17; 21-22; 66:22-23
It is an everlasting covenant: Exodus 31:16

We are deceived so as to completely misunderstand why God/Yahweh gave His Torah!
His laws and commands that depict His nature and He wants us to be like Him. Yahweh is love.
"And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God/Elohim, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as we are this day. And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the LORD our God/Elohim, as he has commanded us" (Deuteronomy 6:24-25).
The Sabbath was established at the beginning of creation when God/Yahweh rested on the Seventh day and Blessed (Kadosh) it. He then gave us the day as a sign and a day to rest,as the 4th commandment. “Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord/Adonai who sanctifies you. You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you" (Exodus 31:13-17).
Yeshua said, “Therefore, the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28). Being "Lord of the Sabbath", is NOT changing it to another day or abolishing the day.
It means the day belongs to Him. It's the day that is blessed and set apart to rest and worship.
We are saved by grace, to walk in righteousness, Not to disregard the commandments; “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God/Yahweh in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).
"Little children, LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU: he that DOES righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that commits sin (TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW/Torah) is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of Elohim does not practise sin; for his seed remains in Him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of Elohim. In this the children of Elohim are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of Elohim, neither he that loves not his brother" (1 John 3:7-10).
"But be DOERS of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he sees himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was. But whoso looks into the PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a DOER OF THE WORK, this man shall be blessed in his deed" (James 1:22-25).
Heaven and the earth are still here...
Yeshua did not change the importance of keeping all of the Commandments. The two Commandments of Yeshua, loving God/Yahweh and loving your neighbor, are a summation of the Law and Torah Not an instruction to disregard the rest of the law. As a Matter of fact, Yeshua says, “On these two Commandments hang/ depend all the Law and the Prophets/Torah” (Matthew 22:40).
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, ****but to fulfill them*** For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:18).
“Do we then make void the law through faith? God/Yahweh forbid: yea, we establish the Law" (Romans 3:31) .
"He who possesses My Commands and keeps them, is he who loves Me" (John 14:21).
"His commandments are not grievous/burdensome" (1 John 5:3).
“By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God/Yahweh has truly been perfected.” (I John 2:3-5) “Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4).
“If you love Me, you will keep My Commandments (John 14:15).
“But prove yourselves doers of the Word/Torah, and not merely hearers who delude themselves” (James 1:22).
“That you keep the Commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach” (1 Timothy 6:13).
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God/Yahweh, and the faith of Yeshua.” (Revelation 14:12).
“Blessed are they that DO His Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14).

Spoiler alert....there is non! Anytime he spoke the word the word came to pass and was never misunderstood. To say that they are in an perfect organization ran by imperfect men is a cop out.
