This is an extremely well made documentary. I'm no expert on lions, but this is the most bizarre male lion behavior I have ever seen. I guess it's just the poor luck of this female pride to attract 2 males at extreme ends of the scale, one too old to fight off a competing male, and the other too young and inexperienced to be able to secure the females on his own. Too bad they can't put aside their differences and team up.

Nature made zebras easy food for lions..... lions have got the color of the grass so they czn camouflage themselves...zebras on the other hand, are spotted unmistakenkly white and black!!

Increíble how these people watch such a sacrifice and brutal action and do nothing to save him!

This is the type of nature documentary I miss. Most today are super high def and all, but all in ultra slow-motion with a celebrity voiceover designed to give it drama. It's an editorial with pieces clipped together in slow motion and a story draped over the top that may not actually be what is happening with the animals featured. Many are actually shot in sound studios now, but made up to look like nature. I much prefer this candid, long-form scene style with minimal effects or slow motion, or phony narratives inserted.

I love nature videos but hate how they have to lie and bs every little detail these stories now to make them infotainment. No the Lions weren't starving if you look at their bodies it's obvious to tell that they're fairly well fed. Know this wasn't a death march it was less than a day walk, I'm pretty sure that they're well-fed frames could make it back if they were unsuccessful. The reality of these lines life is dramatic enough you don't have to line embellish. When you do so you just spread stupidity that is already rampant throughout the world. Do better please

Don’t get it wrong. Hyenas are great hunters too. They barely show them doing it but they do! They will steal too. But it’s probably bc hyenas can form packs of 50 hyenas!! Yes 50!!!
