It's 100 degrees and rising. Waterholes are drying up, forcing everyone to gather near the few remaining water sources - including predators. For Manzi pack, crocodiles and hyenas are an ever-present threat, especially for the inexperienced pups. Julz is alarmed to find lions in the Kakuli pack’s favourite drinking spot. Meanwhile, beyond the park border, Stork pack is doing well despite their high risk of snare injuries. Radio collaring some of the pack allows the conservation team to better track and protect them. And for the first time ever, Julz gets to touch a wild dog.
