Wild Dog Pups Hunt For The First Time | Running with the Pack 101

Wildlife cameraman Julz Braatvedt arrives at South Luangwa National Park, Eastern Zambia, to film three packs of Wild Dogs in three very different territories through the dry season. Led by alpha female Weka, Manzi pack’s home range along the Luangwa river is rich in prey - but also in predators. In the desolate Badlands Kakuli pack’s alpha mum Pamodzi has lost most of her litter and must battle to keep her last two pups alive. And on the border of the park, Mabvuto and her tiny Stork Colony pack are at risk from poacher’s snares as well as dangerous wild predators.
