Will your bike if chain is slipping its your chain stretched and could be worn teeth on your rear cassette and jockey wheels. I service my own bikes built a few too pity youre so far away i could help 😢 Those red spiders beware they bite for such a small spider 😮 Bike trail was lovely and flat make easy peddling for you. Paint is looking well polished on your boat nice job elbow grease is a rare thing. No boat washes on the cut like car washes on roads eh.. Bless you for helping out the biker, Definitely when you pop to B&Q or wood yard check out their offcuts box to see if you can pick up some decent bits of wood Or when you pass a marina next check out their bin stores to see if anyone had left any good bits of wood there too. I can see that you will end up building a new one from scratch so it’s nice, sturdy and strong 😉😄🤗

Find the ECU on Mr Van, trace wires, there is no way you can have a crank sensor, throttle position sensor and the Cold start/Heater plug circuit all go wrong at the same time. Either you have had water in the ECU or the wiring plugs/harness need looking at (most likely cause) I expect the ECU now has all sorts of fault codes stored in it that now need clearing, have you got an ODB reader?Use this to read the codes and clear them. Hopefully this will reset the cold start light or at least tell you what is going on.

Have you considered getting a UPVC window made for it Will? My brother-in-law can make any shape in aluminium in his factory but they are really expensive. You could even get openers fitted. It surprises me what you'll take on living on a narrowboat.

Will you are a legend mate . helping this fella getting his bike home 👍👍👍👍 As a biker for many years there is nothing worse than braking down without any mans to get it back home. I have seen bikes striped when they were left at the side of the road by people after they had broken down... I noticed that you attempted to find the fault for him.. sadly when people mess with the wiring . You can spend days trying to find the fault. The very same thing can be said about cars and any other vehicles.. My pet hate was always trying to find a electrical problem on a boat were people have added something to the electrical system without having a clue about what they are doing.??? The most dangerous electrical fault I ever came across was a power supply that was actually burning behind the ceiling boards...you could actually see the smoke escaping from around the ceiling...all the owner said that he could smell something burning..????. He hadn't even turned off the power supply on the boat.??? And they sit and wonder why this has happened... Anyway Wii as always you have produced another brilliant video .. please be aware not every one can eat wild plants ,try a small bit for starters ,the wood that you got rotten is made into shape by machines ,,joints ,grooves etc why you got rot is probably the perplex was not bedded in with putty ,sealant etc ,hence water has got in very easily,, cracking wood is another sign of water getting in

It's good to see other boaters solving problems and making do. It makes it feel less miserable when things go wrong and need sorting out. Life seems to be one long string of jobs that need doing... Or paying for 😧

Oh my memory lane, I had loads of Suzuki trail bikes when I was a kid they were perfect transport in the Cotswolds in the 70's. Then the flash back was completed with a view of the points I was always making sure they were OK, it was one of the first things my Dad showed me how to adjust as he insisted I do all the maintenance on the bikes.

I got bitten once by a horsefly and the area went purple. Went DRs they said I was on the verge of blood poisoning, had to have antibiotics.. Be Careful.

Nothing like a nice bit of splicing and dicing to get the heart going in the morning 😂 at least you’ve had the good weather for it , tip old timber yards , the have off cuts of hard wood you can get for cheap or sometimes free,👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍

it's nice to see someone that likes to help others , lets hope it rubs off onto your sons too , my hubby changed his oil & filter the other day too , he drained all the oil out , then realised he'd forgotten to get a filter for it lol , Ooops , & it was sunday so could'nt get one from shops , so i managed to get him one from amazon , next day delivery , phew lol .

Heysham beach is lovely it’s such a small beach that hardly anyone goes to, with a lil church yard and lay out stones just above the little village. Such a cute lil village 🤗
