    I just ordered one of these bikes. Fortunately I live in Florida where there are very few climbs, so I should get much better range out of the battery. I ride bikes to keep fit, so I may try only using the battery when I'm seriously fatigued and just want to get home. I have no use for the high speeds this bike is capable of, so it's probably best to save power for steep climbs and headwinds.

    Hi Nate, do you think this motor would get a heavy rider 110kg 250lbs up hills over 12% even if they were a slow rider or were grinding up hill below say 40RPM. I am recovering from knee surgery and want to get a bike to get me back to some kind of fitness. Thanks

    • @nateums
      @nateums Před rokem

      The motor would easily push you up the incline, but you will not be going that fast. So in other words it will be easy to climb, but it won't be a fast climb. The amount of force you'll need to put with your legs will be easy.

      Hi Nate, I have rented a Creo for the weekend Aug 13th so will find out just how strong the motor is. I also have the chance of picking up a Creo Expert EVO for a great price 2022 version with the Mastermind TCU but it has the eagle groupset with a 44t and 10/50 at the back. Do you think this would be just as good for road use over the 11/42 cassette. I am not a speed freak and just need to get up some of the 10% + climbs until I get fitter. Just after your thoughts buddy?

  • @Tony211289
    @Tony211289 Před rokem

    How are you finding the hills? Can you get up the steep ones with relative ease?

    • @nateums
      @nateums Před rokem

      the 39t makes climbing moderate hills (~7-10%) doable while still giving you great speed on flats as long as you ride around 10-15 mph, but if you really want easy/ touring kind of set up I recommend getting the 33t, but that installation is much harder bc you'll need to take out the bottom bracket to place a spacer

    • @nateums
      @nateums Před rokem

      remove the seat post, and then disconnect the dropper post from the seat post... then you can install the seat holder ring that has the rack attachment... the dropper mechanism is just a metal string with a latch, you just unlatch it... its connected by tension so you wont really mess it up if you unlatch it, you just relatch it once you install the seatpost ring
