I have spina bifida and acute chronic pancreatitis, and have had 80+ surgeries before I was 35. I am the most comfortable in a hospital to the point that it's my happy place in my mind. I normally sleep with rain noise or brown noise, but I had trouble sleeping for about a week. Just dawned on me one night to search for ambient hospital sounds, I've been falling asleep much faster now. My only issue is that I much prefer the videos that have people talking like this one, but sometimes I wake up startled because my brain suddenly believes someone is in the bedroom. 🤣

I spent a lot of time in doctor’s offices and hospitals as a little kid. I had an undiagnosed auto immune disorder, and many of my relatives were dying. Sleeping in a bed or waiting room is nostalgic for me.

i tried to kms in december of 2023 i was in the hospital for over 8 hours before i got transferred to a mental institution my mother lives 3 hours away and she didnt even attempt to drive down let alone call me my father never left my side the hospital was such a comforting yet uncomfortable feeling i cant quite explain it helped me sleep well it makes me feel safe in the mental hospital it was a mess but u felt safe the staff was shit but i slept well knowing i was in a safe space i have trouble sleeping let alone sleeping in places i have never been thats why i hate sleepovers unless im with my comfert people but in the mh i felt safe enough to sleep i may go back soon its january 2024 not long after my attempt its been getting worse i may go back or it may work i hope it works this time but i just want you to know this helps comfert a scared alone 13 year old girl whos on her last string before she breaks❤
