    Some interesting Hospital facts:
    1. The creator of Peter Pan gave the rights to a children’s hospital so they would always collect the royalties and fund the hospital.
    2. Some hospitals keep a supply of beer for alcoholics in case they go through withdrawal (which can be fatal). Some hospitals even have beer cans with prescription labels.
    3. In a study to improve hospital design for children, researchers polled 250 children regarding their opinions on clowns and every single one of them reported disliking or fearing them.
    4. For one day in 1940, a section of a hospital in Ottawa, Canada became international territory so that a Dutch Princess could be born a full Dutch citizen (a requirement to be a Dutch Princess). Every year the Netherlands sends Canada a gift of tulips to show their gratitude.
    5. It was common for hospitals in Germany to have a brewery. Patients used to get a beer before going to bed.

I was thinking of the sound of the IV pump that's delivering cancer medicines or immunotherapy medicines to a patient. This along with the soft tones of the heartbeat moniter are very soothing.
I spent 24 days in total in critical care with sepsis back in 2006 and had an operation to remove a Meckel's Diverticulum from my stomach that'd been there since I was born. I'd started feeling pain when I was nearly 9 years old, so by the time I needed help, (when that pouch burst), I knew I was in trouble. If it hadn't been for a wonderful doctor from Turkey who looked up what I'd described to him what I'd felt and heard while in the bathroom, I'd be taking a permanent, six-foot dirt nap! The good doctors and nurses at St. Josephs Hospital here in Atlanta, Georgia who took such great care of me, my story wouldn't be told. They literally saved my life.
I also love your channel! Part 6 really sounds like a good one, but I must say that here in America, we don't have hospitals with windows that open, and this is why so many of them are becoming sick buildings! I'll never be able to get the same kind of care at St. Josephs of Atlanta anymore unless Emory University no longer owns them, because they've reduced the quality of care and excellent nutrition therapy like I needed, and it's a crying shame! Here in America, medicine isn't for the patients; it's for the accountants and "Big Pharma", and it's the worst perversion of our capitalistic society! I'm seeking to relocate in the not-too-distant future now, because France has the best medical care of all. I used to live there, and I'd go back there especially to be able to get my health back, because I'm totally blind, and public transportation is practically non-existent. I can't be independent at all, and people here want the world to end. (I kid you not.)
Please forgive me for the rant, but I and so many of my totally blind constituents are in this mess, and many have had to leave to seek a much better life. This country is doomed, and we need critical help to learn how to care for and about each other again, and I hope it's not too late!
God bless you and what you do, and thank you so much for being able to deliver these healing sounds. It means a lot.
