It went a lot smoother this time , 1/3 the time to complete. those aluminum ferrules work great and should last the life of the truck.

I knew I should have done the drivers side a month ago when the passenger side went out. Guess what i'm doing this morning. This video was well worth the watch and the aluminum repair cable housing worked perfectly. I found the only pair in stock were i live at the auto zone. Thanks

Hi Fixpro Thank you so much for all the work you have done to help with echo problems. I have a new CAT S75. One week after I had bought it an echo problem started. When I use the ear piece speaker there is no echo but when I use the main speaker people can hear an echo of their own voice. I have tried lots of solutions that didn't work. The phone was sent for service twice but both times I was just told that "nothing is wrong". Today I discovered that there is no echo when I use WhatsApp - only on phone calls using my carrier which is 3. I borrowed a simcard from another carrier. The echo was still there. Did you ever hear about this problem? "3" cannot help me. I wonder if WhatsApp uses one microphone and my call app uses the other one on my phone? I am in Denmark. My old cell phone, CAT S41 never had echo problems and as soon as I move my simcard back to S41 there is no echo. I don't use a cover for the phone. Thank you very much for reading this. Anne

If I might add, I spray silicone and it slides through like crap thru a goose, but, if you do it dry and you miss a grove I just use a flat screwdriver (very small) to just push the rubber under the plastic lip ... Aloha!

Excellent viseo. I just replaced my rear blad "the hard way" before watching your video DUH.. Anyway, I sprayed a bit of soapy water on the new blasde. Made. it slide a bit easier.

I took my driver side rear door (2000 F250) completely apart, replaced all the crumbling plastic pieces with aluminum ones and the upper latch still won't open. I took the cable to the upper latch off and can open it by pulling down on the cable but when it's installed properly, it won't open the latch. I'm out of ideas.

This looks like good info for some Ford trucks- not Rangers, and fwiw, the door is clearly swung open at 1:47 thru 1:54, which no doubt makes the job easier if not doable. So, not sure these methods will work when the door is actually stuck shut. Thanks for the upload, but would suggest being a little more accurate in the video title.

This cheap and cheerful cleaner from dollar general is the catsazz! I use it straight! Just wish I could buy it by the 55gallon drum or IBC tote!

thank you I just bought a used car and it was driving me nuts, I replaced the blades thinking it was the problem and it still did the same sound when coming down. I'll try this tomorrow and I hope it fixes it

I searched and searched until I finally found your video! I'm glad I kept looking, because this zipper pull replacement with the locking mechanism was exactly what I was looking for. You helped me and it was so simple to do. I replaced the pull with one you can buy and has the spring clip on. Thanks so much for posting the info and the simple illustration video ❤

I first tried using velcro. Yup, this saved me from picking my valance up from the floor and re-hanging every couple of weeks.

The hook it self broke off. Is there a way to fix that?
