You know whats funny about these "reactions" literally no one dares to actually criticize this music. this is one of nobuo's weakest pieces of music he's ever written in the Final Fantasy series, yet it's the one that gets highlighted the most "eyes on me", "theme of love", "sutake whatever im not japanese from ffx". but no this is the one that gets all the attention. trash.

I would recommend the song Preview of Me by Tatsuya Kitani same person who made Where Our Blue Is

A lot of the material had already been heard in some form in previous FFXIV or even previous FF titles before FFXIV, but 11:48 was a completely new theme. On the day of the trailer that part had some of the strongest reactions.

Obligatory: The free trial of the game is the base game + 2 expansions. You basically play a story with great music like this and people are really cool about new players in groups (there's a reward structure for helping new players). No time limit, chill and have fun. They are really good at blending the music with the story.

The intro to this anime is one of my favorites of all time, not only does it sound good its just a treat to look at. Its almost hypnotic

For me this theme screams Castlevania and i love it

There are a few tracks in FFXIV that emotionally obliterate me every time, this is absolutely one of them. I played the game very briefly in the early days of ARR on someone elses account, I then came back when Heavensward was the current expansion but dropped the game again, hearing this song was one of the pushes I needed to finally give the game a proper chance during the Shadowbringers patch cycle and it hooked me finally

Coming back to this after 5 months to say that you're overdue for another Undertale song reaction! Now that you've done the titular "Undertale" any chance you could do Megalovania, even if it won't be a blind react? You'll probably get a lot of views. If not, then my favorite song in Undertale is Spider Dance and I would kill for you to do a react video for that one! Dogsong is also really good and a fun listen. I could go on, but I'm sure you already have your next few Undertale songs planned, just hoping you get back to this wonderful OST!

This fan-made song is such a love song to Undertale that he thought it was from the original game, and if that isn't some mega flattery for the composer, I don't know what is. Last Breath phase 3's song, an Enigmatic Encounter is my favorite Undertale AU / fan-game song out there

I don't know a whole lot about Guilty Gear lore, but I do know Zato does have this fight between dark and light inside him. And, I feel the major shifts between the metal sounds, and then the melodic, piano sections and voiclines represent the dark and light fighting within him for control. In the beginning, the melodic lines and piano, when they do appear, are buried under the heavy metal tones, showing how much the dark has control, and by the end the song has swung almost fully to the light side, with no more of that metal sound, and it becomes that really beautiful, melodic version again. It is absolutely a unique and different song, and I enjoy it quite a bit. Seems very fitting for the character too

I didn't like this song much at first either, but it grew on me too. It's just so powerful and full with tribal thumping beats.

Fun little fact about Zato’s theme, the final section of the song will almost never play in a normal game match, it’s too long, even if you time out every stock (which is just under 5 minutes) it will just barely start the piano section. Knowing Daisuke’s style, that’s probably symbolism of Zato’s real thoughts never being able to come out

The song sounds ok to me first time, but I kept watching because of the crazy visuals. Then it grew on me (as usual with many op/ed). Those who get mad when u pause to give your thoughts, they can kindly go watch the original video. Also, that's a very cool end cover

For the longest time this was my favorite track from FFXIV. As a fellow musician, the more I listen to it the more I feel that musically it's the weakest main title track. I think the main reason myself and so many others are so attached to this song is simply because of how it's implemented in the game. For a long time you hear motifs from this song, and when we finally get the full song the music lines up perfectly with one of the greatest moments in the game. I think the song is weak musically but beloved nonetheless because of its implementation

I had this discussion with one of my friends but I think Estepario is gonna inspire a new generation of just insanely technical drummers. Kinda like how Tim Henson and other technical shredders basically propelled that style forward. Feel like that will inevitably lead to the same problem that old gen guitar players have with new gen players, that all their playing is just shred not enough melodic feeling etc. translating that roughly for drums if that makes any sense…I feel like that could be a thing in the future. Idk if that’s just me, both styles are equally cool and I like both. Curious to see what happens
