The original song arrangement is actually by Kikuo who has done similar songs to this in the past, I highly recommend listening to him! But Ado's way of singing is super impressive and will surely have a big influence!

I know you saw this live, but I was blown away when she nailed it perfectly on stage! I truly think Ado is unmatched by anyone when it comes to range. I can't wait for her next tour!
I liked it, Ado's voice gave me chills because of how good it is and that added to kikuo's already mind blowing song makes it even better. Also Iv'e been reading some comments and people think she made the song... Actual artist is Kikuo (listen to him pls) and she just covered the song.

A while ago I showed my musician friends her music, but they weren’t really fans of it…
The people I do know who listen to her aren’t musicians or my type of people in general.
For that reason I really enjoy these videos man! Love hearing someone else who really gets it appreciate the great stuff going on. Watching you slowly become an Ado fan and being unable to restrain tangent Tony was awesome as well😂👋

The thing is ado's vocals can be a bit cringe sometimes, especially if you aren't hugely into japanese music. I personally think some of her deliveries are just...too much. But she deffo has some songs that i really like.

This is definitely my favorite cover from her, i have adhd and this kinda clears my mind(hard to explain), but also this song is also a good example for having adhd ideas and thoughts flying though your mind before fully being realized

What gets me about Ado is the fact most people talk about a tool belt or tool box of skills for singing. I swear Ado has a two ton box that takes two forklifts to carry it and it has a thousand drawers with many voices in each.

Ive been waiting for this one, its one of my favorite Ado songs, the way she manages to portray the emotions, the suffering and the madness of the main character of the story in the song, with her voice is unbelievable. Accompanied with the fun, in some parts almost circus like music, making the song sound dark, cynical, misanthropic and messed up.

If you’re searching for an Ado song that you haven’t heard yet which is rlly good too and rlly underrated, I’d recommend her song Tokyo Cannibalism, it’s uploaded on biz yt channel and I think you’d love it!

Loved the video ! Don't apologize for pausing a lot, the analysis is always worth it ! This song and especially Ado's version is mind-blowing. I do see the similarities with Janis Joplin. May I recommend the k-indie artist Cacophony, she also has a very unique voice that goes from whisper to scream in her songs. She probably won't do well reaction-wise because she's quite unknown but even if you don't react/analyse it I think she's worth checking out.

I highly, highly recommend you reacting to songs from the Castle album by Dios. It's a band of 3 but each member is insanely talented in their field. Castle is the only music album I've ever enjoyed all the way through, and I think you will too.

I don't have a word that describes my feelings towards the song (it's definitely more than love) after watching this video.
Always alwayssss this happens when you break down a song that I already know/like like Haru in previous video I appreciate the song and the artists behind it so so so much more than I originally did.
You asked if there is a singer similar to Ado, and there is. Ado's role model is Sheena Ringo, a Japanese singer who has been established for a long time and is one of the most famous Japanese singers. She also plays a lot with her voice and has a similar style to Ado. But in my opinion Ado takes this style to another level.
The greatest thing is that she sounds just as good live. It's hard to believe but she truly holds up. Her concert was mindblowing.
I know you're not really into vocaloid, but I'd be curious to hear your opinion of utsu-p songs. his music is great and he does some interesting things with vocaloids too.

Ado is the best singer when it comes to plays with voice range, i bet she and her team is having fun, and gladly most people enjoyed what theyve created, but damn.. her voice can really easily makes my body tingling and trembling, i wish i could experience ado's live perform
I one man could do a 4 hour analisis of an anime opening song, a 25 minute analisis for a 5 minute song is perfectly fine

Ado's voice is great but whats amazing about her is all in the mind. She's not just singing the song, she's presenting it. And yea, some of that is in the vocal range and strength. But a lot of it is showmanship. You know who else does this type of stuff with their voice? Mike fuckin' Patton.
