United States
Registrace 7. 08. 2019
Hey everyone. My name is Ross. I was born in the US, live in Spain and love to travel and talk to the people wherever I go. Whoever said "the people make the place" was on the right track. The word "flaneur" means "a man who wanders around and observes society." Thanks for stopping by and for watching the videos.
How I see the US after living in Spain for 10 Years
Some things I learned about the US after living 10+ years in Spain are that it's a great place to work, sports are huge, amazing nature, variety of choices... Overall, I chose to stay in Spain because I feel it's safer, more socially developed, and at the end of the day we need social interaction more than big skyscrapers. We need to be around people more. If you have ever wanted to travel, JUST GO! The two things I recommend is 1. Positive Attitude 2. Open Mind.
If you have those two things you'll discover stuff you never knew existed.
Thanks for your time and your attention! Have a good day,
Ross

if you ever wanted to learn Italian...🇮🇹
zhlédnutí 1,2KPřed 21 dnem
I wanted to learn Italian, and took the most common words, worked with native translators and singers to compile and put them into songs. Then I used detailed images (mostly generated by AI) to illustrate the words in a fun way. Combining the songs and images, I am excited to announce the online course "Learn Italian with Songs & Images" Course on Udemy. Click the link to try out the course for...

Welcome to the United States of America. In this video I talk to different Americans and ask "Is America divided?" "What is your message to the world?" And I was surprised to see that people have different opinions on immigration, gun control, etc but that their ideas made sense and that we must learn to "love and respect one another" like Betty said. Me encanta la gente de Sevilla. Good evening Ross and thank you for an excellent video. I was captivated from the first moment. The beauty of Saville and the warmth of the people. What I'd give to live in a world with no borders. To live amongst people that greet me every day. How much I'd love to have these people as friends and neighbours.
Gracias, I also hope we can move more towards a world with kinder people, great connections and beautiful experiences! Take care

Safety in Spain? Even after all the attacks by the migrants?
Very nice the US but for living… I prefer Spain!
Did you enjoy the cops beating you for not wearing a mask a few years ago?
Hacer pausas.😅
Thats it I am selling up & going to Live in Sevilla

Le spagnole sono bellissime.
The United States has all kinds of nature, but the problem is that it is very big. Not many families can travel that far to see some of the beautiful places in the USA. Spain is the country with the most biosphere reserves in the world, and one of the most varied climates. The country has the only desert in Europe, it is the second most mountainous country in Europe, and the one with the most blue flag beaches on the planet. The advantage is that it has a quality public transportation system and you can go from one part of the country to another in an hour by plane, or in 4 hours by high-speed train and at very low costs.
I would love to see more natural landscapes in Spain. What would be your #1 recommendation?
In business, the USA is the land of freedom, but not only for you, but also for everyone else. That means too many people are competing to do the same businesses. In Spain with €40 you can start your business in 48 hours. It is not a big problem. That there is a barrier to entry is good, because it leaves out many competitors. In Spain there are more fees, but you receive services such as quality healthcare, which in the USA has to pay more money than the fees you pay in Spain, to receive the same service. Health insurance in the USA, which gives you the same as in Spain, without co-payments, without pre-existing diseases, and without deductibles, could cost more than $2,000 per month.
Yes, thank you for your comment and for watching. I forgot to mention the healthcare in Spain...a huge plus! Un saludo
So the resident Spainard chimes in. Sheesh.
Cheers to Stillwater, MN!

The older gentleman with the cap and cigar reminds me so much of my Cuban grandfather.
He was a fun guy to talk to :)
A lot of Americans never travel because they cannot afford to. Or they simply have no interest.
It's true that traveling can be expensive for them. Thanks for watching!
I don't understand, having traveled now, why Americans can't afford to travel. Nearly everywhere on earth is less expensive to be than the United States. The most expensive thing is to stay in the US
Hey Ross, especially Spain has a lot of grand natural landscapes, mountains and pastures. Obviously You have never been outside of towns. When You stay in New York, you never see the Grand Canyon.
Hi Fernando. Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, I see your point and you're right - I think maybe I didn't explain it well. I meant to say that within towns at least where I've been there's more nature, and in general the vastness of the wilderness seems bigger there, but that's just my take. Thanks again and have a good day!
Hey Ross! Really dig your videos as I can relate to this same experience of leaving the States and living in Spain for almost a decade. So glad supermarkets have started stocking pb! 🤣
Thank you Shola! Glad to see a fellow expat, we are a rare breed :P The weird thing is (you'd probably agree) I've gotten so used to pan con aceite y tomate that I tend to eat that more now haha
@ I ate traditional Spanish breakky during the first few years, but now I'm back to my American bodybuilder style meals. 🤣 I much prefer proats, avocado or pb toast.
The lady at around 15:00 speaks the truth. We are losing our humanity.
That guy, playing the guitar that way in the final... beautiful people on this video
When people are in harmony because the main goal is to be happy creates an amazing atmosphere, a vibe like no other. Simply beautiful!
Does anyone know the name of the fan shop at 14:00?
Abanicos Airearte Sevilla . Thanks for watching!

This can’t be said enough! Very important.
Thank you!
Its crazy how many people miss the opportunity to grow when traveling. An open mind is the only way to live a good life.
Totally agree!
Can't agree more!...
Glad you resonate with the message!
The best thing about socities with open minds and open borders is that you find the most beautiful women, the most handsome men, the best food, art and music. Ok there's riff raff but where else are you going to find the best dr*gs!
