Do you have to do anything special to check in camera gear at the airport? Also when filming in the rain do you use anything to protect your camera?

awesome work and channel. I'm heavily considering getting FX30 primarily for filming pickleball tournaments, both indoors and out. I've never owned a Sony but have done some digging on autofocus options, but I'm still a bit unsure. With pickleball, the net is often a large portion of the shot, thus I have concern about video autofocus getting confused by it and taking away from the one or two players on other side of the net. I'd rather not have to constantly be choosing a player to focus on as well. Any input you can give on this scenario and if FX30 would be a great fit and what option in the camera would I primarily use, wide area, zone, spot, touch tracking, etc. I don't have a local store to try it out so I'm really hoping to get your professional opinion and input on this. Appreciated, Kyle

What's up boss man, hey I've watched a lot of your videos but maybe I haven't run into it yet. You show the good stuff but where's THE good stuff? Where's "HOW TO GET INTO" the field like the correct contacts to be looking for and how to achieve doing business to land the contract to shoot their teams as their exclusive media?(you know to avoid giving them a set of awesome images professionally done then suddenly it's a whole set of cell phone pics). Can you do a vid on a non-gatekeeping way to get INTO the field?

Dude! Your hotel was like 2 blocks away from my place. Next time you are in town for a game, I'll give you my R6 Mark II and 70-200 to take to a game to do a camera comparison. LOL. Seriously it's incredible to see the quality of your work. I grew up watching sports like the CFL on tv and it's crazy to think that you are using (pro) consumer available gear and making shots that are way better than what the networks have been doing for the past many decades.

I wouldn't hold the part about "too low" and "too high" to account for anything. Clients are simply being cheap, they are price shopping for that one gullible person that they can dictate and take control of all while getting it for peanuts and corn prices. The goal is to respect your value and not try to "fit in" where something never existed. Either they like your value or they don't. Content creation can run an easy $10,000 per month. If they are fighting over $500 for the day for photos and $1,800 for 1 video and a session of photos, you are not the problem, they are. Also DO NOT NOT NOT bill a measly $50 an hour for 8 hours, that's not even enough to live today!. CHARGE YOUR WORTH not the hour, you are a business not an employee. Clients are not paying your insurance, that's something I've NEVER put on my statements, they don't need none of that and it's never been an issue for me. I have Pre-Pro, Pro and Post and Editing lines, that's it

i have a question. so when you were running to the endzone when they scored, you were holding your camera with the tamron lenses, not holding your fx30 that was on the mount correct? how does it just automatically look like you were recording on it when you were running like is there a certain setting where you can have a same recording with different cameras?

This might be a dumb question.. but on the last video were all the shots "glow effect" I could not tell if some were lighting and others were glow of if they all were glow on the last video. Really liked all the videos in this clip and the critiques by PS. But Interested on the "Glow" the way it was in the night was pretty cool.

I have a switcher screaming about me following the ball...U can't and it would make a viewer sick watching fast camera moves. Glad u said DONT FOLLOW THE BALL!

I need to know how to do: 1:36 OR 2:29 that noise vintageish look 2:04 crazy cool media looking effect 2:06 how you move all those team names to different spots so smoothly 2:15 this media but also video game kinda effect 2:26 this handheld effect with all the light disipating as the clip goes on

Have you tried this setup with night games? I'm considering trying the 70-200 GM2 on my fx30 over my a7s3 to get even tighter shots and possibly even getting a 1.4 or 2x teleconverter, but concerned about noise on the fx30 during friday night high school football games.

If you are willing to buy me a Tamron 35-150mm f2/2.8 lens I will not disappoint you and give you all of my earnings using that lens in my first paying year
