Problematic coasters TOP THRILL 2!!

I rode this probably 1000 times. We had season passes in '78. The back car and then the front seats are the best places to sit. The front because of the view, the back because you got whipped around in really fun ways.

I think Six Flags St Louis Worlds of Fun and Silver Dollar City need to get one of these each. The Six Flags won could be themed to DC the Worlds of Fun one can be themed to the jungle in Silver Dollar City can be themed to the wild West.

As someone who goes to knotts here and there, the wait time is horrific as well as the capacity for rides. Last time I was there opening to closing & each line was at LEAST 2-3 hours..just for one ride We waited 4 hours and only got to ride 3 rides…

I absolutely love this coaster and find it very smooth in comparison to many others.

Unfortunately, I’m currently here today, and it’s been down for 2 days now. I’m hoping it opens before I go home but if you’re planning a trip to SFGA, be aware. The park is being run awfully currently.

I remember as a 10-12 year old it hurting my back, especially in the helix section.

in all honesty the thing i'm most curious about is how maintenance will work, like idk i'm sure i don't have a deep enough understanding of ride maintenance and maybe it would be easier than i'm imagining but it seems like it will be insane to maintain

9:33 great video, but in the Block map you show a Block right on/after the tophat after the Spike launch, that isnt correct since the next bocl after the Spike launch is between the double up and the helix

those really don't take up much room - if CP can figure out how to build a ride like TT2, they must be able to figure out how to fit some of these lockers in the new queue there...hopefully it doesn't take 7 years

I'm curious of they still are limiting dispatches to every 3 min or if they can go back to 3 train ops now that the oroblem sections have been addressed

Definitely need more rides like this in the states with a moving station, free lockers, and just a lap bar. So many parks’ operations are bogged down by securing loose articles and ride ops having to check seat belts along with lap bars. This ride looks amazing, but with all of its moving parts, I’m really hoping it doesn’t have a smiler style accident. Great video as always Ryan!

I rode Steel Vengeance when they had the pouches - I spent so much time trying to get it in there and closed with my glasses, the attendants didnt/didnt have time to check me. My lap bar and belt were subsequently NOT secured and I spent the entire ride CLINGING to the restraint and car in front of me as I was lifted and slipping out of the seat completely for the ride (i'm a normal sized human and def not some little bird of a person). Scariest ride I've ever taken and thank GOD i'm a very fit woman. Just rode it again last week and it was the AWESOME experience I craved bc I was strapped in properly. Excellent upgrade with the lockers.

Around the time of that policy change, I was hit in the face by a loose phone on el toro and it caused a pretty deep gash (still have the scar today). I remember after that seeing the rules more prominently enforced. I've always wondered if it precipitated the change or was coincidental with the number of injuries or lost&damanged articles that made them enforce the article policy.

Big respect to the engineers of making the absolute bullshit of a 7 launch, 4 switchtrack, multiple cart rollercoaster possible

I rode this twice. First time was in summer 2010 with the bizarro theming. Front row. One of my favorite ride experiences. Shouldn’t downplay the audio system because that experience was demented and hype, try to look up POVs from that period. Second time I rode was fall 2016 with the VR headsets. Such a goofy experience, I’m honestly surprised more headsets didn’t fly right off.

OMFG the noise that this ride made, and MR freeze make. its the best. i love the idea of this ride, and i wish they could make one today that actually worked.

Yet another ride proving once again that a larger ride does not mean a better ride; I would take this over a giga any day. Especially with the double-sided lockers; charging for them or not (which I'm definitely on the side of not, but it also wouldn't be so bad if they were only a quarter or two), it's just a more efficient system, having to wait for people to put their stuff in and move out the way while you try to get yours just takes forever -.-

Can I put a fanny pack in the lockers?

Had the good fortune to ride Lightning Rod literally days before they shut it down to put in the new chain lift hill. Easily one of the most intense roller coasters I've ever ridden. Will need to come back for the chain lift experience at some point, for sure.

I think rough coasters should come with a brain damage warning, as even mild bumps to the head can add up over time and cause things like CTE.

I smiled ear to ear when I saw shivering Timbers because Michigans adventure has been my home park for like 10 years and barely anyone gives it the merit it deserves. Your coaster idiots video there is one of my favorites because it’s the first time I ever heard someone say something good about my home park

I dont get it. I used a small fanny pack at 4 cedar fair parks. Not a single issue. Wore it on every ride except twisted timbers. Not a single problen.

I remember when your first enforced the locker policy in 2017 back when you used to always check my restraints. My dad never wanted to ride (thought it was too rough for him) so he always held my phone while I marathoned it so that I didn't have to pay for a locker. Glad Great Adventure has free lockers for Toro and hopefully the other coasters add them too.

🐂 has unfortunately been down lately.

I loved this coaster today, and I'm really glad the park can boast a one-two punch now. Not an elite one, but better than most New York parks. Plus, the thoosies should have a lot of fun with the "Comet vs Bobcat" debate, which is a pretty close call

you're a big reason we flew from Seattle just to ride El Toro! Got 15+ rides on it, several times never leaving the station. 2 train ops midweek! Row 14 was by far our favorite seat. 17 was good but 18 was brutal.

Wildcat’s Revenge has a similar double sided locker setup, but I like the barcode card Six Flags is using, don’t have to waste time setting a pin on a tiny screen.
