- If you ask me, Europa Park is set to debut the best new roller coaster for 2024, Voltron! Voltron is built by Mack Rides in what Mack is calling their Stryker Coaster model. The ride features a long layout with seven inversions and several launches, with one launch even being at a beyond 90 degree angle!

Mack for the win in 2024. Hyperia and Voltron seriously making a statement over on this side of the planet.
Though I seriously hope the camera shake was just a mounting issue. Otherwise I don't want to know how it will be after a few years of operation!
@@Coasterpostalt same.
@@Coasterpostalt looks like it was edited in later for whatever reason.
Makes me want to travel to Europe more. These are some seriously good coasters.
@@kreminkhonestly. Looked like shaky cam superhero fights
Arrow 80’s
B&M 90’s
Intamin 00’s
RMC 10’s
Mack 20’s
I bet 30's will be for Vekoma
and im here for it 👏
I like B&M rides the best.
B & m are the new arrow with their infamous rattle lol
Can’t argue with the this.
Wow, there’s a lot to this compact coaster.
First I’ve heard of it. But Europe gets some of the more innovative designs, that turn table was unexpected.
They probably get the rides cheaper because the manufacturers are already in Europe already so far less shipping costs. Would explain why they can afford to try new innovative designs rather than a known winning formula. Plus most of the parks there have far stricter height and noise restrictions which forces innovation anyway.
Gosh this was so long I didn’t even realize it was a compact layout
@@WelshGuitarDudeI mean, Europa-Park is literally owned by Mack, one of the biggest ride manufacturers in the world.
We're witnessing a Mack Rides Masterclass and I'm all for it. 😮💨
Now THAT is a complete roller coaster, wow! Great pacing and very innovative too.
Complete is probably the best word to describe it. And that double up into the midcourse looks amazing.
Probably the strongest layout I've seen from Mack
Stronger than Helix and Hyperia?
I wouldn't say that
Ride to Happiness is up there too
Time traveler? Ride to happiness? Helix?
@@Tay_Sports exactly
They are squeezing every square inch out of the new Croatia area.
Yes please.
2 sets of staters per launch makes a lot of sense for a ride featuring a vertical launch.
Talk about a full package! This looks superb.
what does that mean and why does it make sense? sounds interesting but i dont know anything about coasters^^
@@b3.n1k Staters are the magnetic fins on the track on LSM (linear synchronous motor) launches. They propel trains through launches. Coaster Bot has a great video on the subject!
While everyone seems to be building family coasters, Mack is just killing it. Between Voltron, Hyperia, and Starfall Racers, Mack is the only company pushing the envelope and building world-class coasters. Have been on 50+ coasters and have never ridden a Mack coaster. Live in Florida can't wait for Epic to open next year.
Helix is my hometown coaster and it's a masterpiece of a coaster and very comfortable. Can't wait to ride Hyperia and Voltron.
Remember that these companies make what parks order. Many parks have been ordering family coasters lately, and it's forcing companies like B&M to adjust.
So sick of people acting like family coasters are a bad thing
@@Johnnyiswherethey’re boring compared to these
I believe Mack (aside from RMC) are THE coaster company right now.
Wow, at first I thought nice but whatever, then it launched and there was a whole second half! That is a ride, right there.
Universal should get one of these to replace HRRRockIt
I was just thinking that, imagining this coaster with Universal grade theming has me tweaking
They’re getting three Mack coasters next year…
Rumors hrrr is closing 2025
@@wg5827 it is. Signed off now.
I was thinking that after watching the problematic coaster about it. They could make it even taller maybe and change the mid courses so where the first one can be an outerbank or wave turn or something cool. As long as they keep the non-inverting loop idea it would be very cool.
This feels like one of those coasters that would make it into absolutely everyone's top 10. I really need to get out to Germany sometime.
It pretty much seems like a perfect ride. Theming, length, inversions, Airtime, Hangtime...
Yes you do, not only for this park but the incredible Phantasialand and others too!! 🎉🎉
Do it. Hansa Park, Phantasialand, Tripsdrill and Europapark are reason enough.
@@Disturbed666METAL 100%!!
@@Disturbed666METAL and Heide Park
1:02 I hope they put up a wall or hedge there. Seeing the street and cars takes you out of the theme a little. Or maybe there is a garage door on the transfer track that is open?
I hope there will be More theming inside the building at the launches
I mean this ride is powered by an electric supercar company
2 minutes and 16 seconds of a coaster, and this is your comment? This is why enthusiasts suck. Make an amazing coaster. Who cares? They didn't put a wall up, theming is ruined. Might as well tear it down, trash coaster.
More theming is about to come, no worries. It's normal for Europa Park: First they build and then they theme over the next 2 to 3 years.
@@Mr.Misanthrope No, I love this ride, it's great. I was just wondering if there is a door that goes down.
Looks mental. Would love one of these in the states! Lookin at you Wonderland 👀👀
best new coaster of 2024 hands down, that layout is phenomenal
With Hyperia a close second if it rides well!
So bumped that I did not win one of the official first ride tickets, but I will be there 15. and 16. of May and I am soooooo hyped.... *Hype*
I'll be getting a chance to ride this in June, incredibly excited to see how it rides and hopefully get more than a few cycles on it!
Oh wow that layout is FANTASTIC. Action packed. Loving everything about this
First launch looks straight out of NoLimits 2. Amazing
Excuse me sir I need help can you tell me what a block zone is
For those of you who are unfamiliar, a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy. At the end of a block zone is a method to stop the train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.
That's cool. I wasn't expecting the 2nd half.
we need coasters like this in america. holy shit this looks amazing
Mackprodukt 👍🏻
this ride just keeps going, it's actually insane
Boy Mack might’ve just made a top 10 coaster those air time hills look insane🤯
0:43 the air time on this looks nuts.
It is. Caught me totally off guard 🙈 one of the best ejector airtime I ever experienced. Sure there are stronger airtime pops on some RMCs but they are way shorter and the restraints make them pretty painful on recurring rides. This one on the other hand is extremely strong, pretty long/ constant and still strangely comfortable.
On my first ride I thought the train is purely trying to get rid of me 😂
I swear the better the technology is being adapted, the more our visions from thrillville or RollerCoaster Tycoon are coming to real life. Just absolutely insane
Finally, a park makes a normal POV for once
That's dope. That double up is SICK!
Looks like if Icon and The Smiler had a baby
and that baby outgrew it’s parents 🤣
@@inthesky3833 Well icon is taller and smiler has more inversions so probably not 'outgrown'
I love coasters that look like they are in an industrial wasteland. It adds an extra drama factor to the ride!
This looks amazing! I thought the ride was over once it hit the turntable and was satisfied.
This has been under construction for what seems like ages. Glad to see it finally done, it looks like a wild layout.
This is a great looking ride. Very well done
My first 3 big coasters were Mack, can't wait for their dominance!
Looks epic! That camera mount less so!
Wow, this looks amazing!
I’ll be there in June. Can’t wait!!!
I was here today, it's an incredible roller coaster 💥
What an insane layout! I love it
You get that feeling of arriving back at the station only to realise you're only halfway through!
The track design is totally insane! I didn't expect the second part
😊
Does this roller coaster have tesals of electromagnetic flux density inatead of Gs of G Forces?
Bruh, Mack needs to stop playing and come over here in the US with these new gen coasters lol. I thought the coaster was done, then they went in a turntable lol.
I thought this was going to be a pokemon themed ride and instead it was a roller coaster themed ride. Very interesting, it looks very fast! We will have to see how we can get a trip in the works! Thank you for posting, we love Europa Park!!
This is PERFECTION!!
Wow, this looks super fun! I hope I can make it out to Europa Park one day; it looks like a fantastic park!
I'll ride this tomorrow on Thursday and on Friday! I'm so excited
Going to ride this may 3rd. Cant wait
Have an amazing time!!
This looks amazing!
I didn't know anything about this coaster before watching this. The hang time in the first half had me wondering if the train would clear the inversions. The turntable surprised me. I thought the ride was over and was already satisfied. 😅
Easy top 10 itw and #1 at Europa Park, this thing is long as hell
This ride is gonna fuck so hard
😫
"This guy, this guy fucks. I look around, and he's the one doing all the fucking. Am I right? This guy fucks!"
Ayo?
Hmm?
and im ready for it ohmy
That’s got to be what universal replaces rip rid rock with! Long out back layout with vertical launch.
Is it just me, or does it look like the wheels have slight gaps separating them from the rails? The trackwork looks glass smooth but the train is shuffling side to side a lot
Wow!!! That looks spectacular
I cant' wait for a decent POV friday. In wide angle, chest mounted, not shaky and 60fps.
That's shaky because from the reviews, the ride is a little bit rough
Ah yes, the theme of high voltage and speed and the color that I associate with it the most. Brown.
All joking aside, this looks like an amazing ride!
This coaster seems as cinematic as a Martin Scorsese film! Wow, the ups and downs, pacing and fluidity, it's amazing... can't wait to ride one day!
Looks amazing!!
That looks so cool! That's a really unique coaster design!
😊
This gives me emotions I shouldn't share on the internet
This has 7 or 8 inversions. The one looks like it goes upside down but I'm not sure if it completely does. Looks like a great ride.
God damn. It just keeps going and going and going.
This is great!
the airtime pops look so intense… i‘m really looking forward to ride this coaster on its opening day on friday
This looks insane!! Holy smokes I wish we had one in the states!!
Is that a bake run or another boost after that inversion? Extra acceleration in the valley of an inversion would be mental.
It’s another boost afaik
It's a boost.... and a block zone!
Boost, the stall is pretty tall afterwards!
no its a wake and bake run.
Looks like Mack finally figured out how to make a punchy launch that truly hits.
Does anyone know why they added the launch at 0:37?
It does not seem to do that much?
Is it because of weather to avoid valleying when it is cold or windy? A hidden "Block break"?
the stall is taller than it looks
Stall is the tallest point of the ride and it also serves as a hidden block break as you mentioned. On our visit we noticed one train being stopped there. Afterwards this serves as a swing launch into the stall. I really hope to experience this one day 😂
mack: i mean we'll build intense rides if you ask us to
The backwards launch actually seems to have some kick to it (compared to other Mack launches at least)
This looks like a lot of fun
Looks like an awesome coaster
Wow. Bravo, Mack.
4th best coaster in europe after the ride to happiness, Untamed and Toutatis
I'm gonna be riding this in July, and I got dizzy just WATCHING this!!
Wow looks amazing
This looks like hagrid’s and velocicoaster had a baby 😍
What an awesome coaster!
Looks INSANE!
Wow. Get me on this ride now
All those immelmanns in the first half remind me of Sandy's Blasting Bronco.
this looks absolutely fantastic!! holy shit!!!
Holy shit! This is gonna be so insane i need to get there
Looks like an instant classic!!! Might have to make a trip to Germany
First thought was short but awesome, realized it was only halfway done
😊
I love mack rides ever since sdc 3 miles from my home got time traveler its been great. I wanna go ride to hapiness. I may spelled some wrong. 😂
This looks dope
this looks awesome. hopefully that switch in the middle won't be a cause for too much downtime
This looks great
I'll be there in 2 weeks to try it out
What’s the point of the turntable? I’m just a bit confused why they added that?
More trains on track for more capacity.
It's defintely a compact layout, and hell I love it, especially that vertical launch
Meanwhile those of us in New Jersey are still waiting for our lsm launching coaster that goes forwards and backwards for 2024…
has Flash gone vertical yet?
I will ride it this Friday. I’m really excited how well it will be. I don’t think it will be the best in Germany not even close in Europe, but for Europapark it will be a great fit and finally a real Thrillcoaster.
Edit: I will visit EP again this Saturday. Voltron is awesome and EP definitely needed a Coaster like Voltron, but for me Ride to Happiness, Zadra, Lech Coaster, GCE, Toutatis and Taron (only because of one ERT April 2019. Intamin tested new Wheels and Taron was about 2 Seconds faster than usual. 1 1/2 Hours, 3 full Trains and I did 23 Laps only Last Row) are still better
I'm with you. I also think it's going to be amazing, but I can't really think this could be the best in Europe.
@@aridaje4345 yeah when I think how good Toutatis, Gotham City Escape, Ride to Happiness, Zadra, Lech Coaster, Taron and even Helix are.
@@Disturbed666METAL exactly.
I thought that was the end of the ride at the turntable, then saw more track
Fire
Does it look like a smooth ride?
I counted 8 inversions. It’s been awhile since a new coaster has come out with that many. There’s a whole lot going on in a compact space on this thing.
its only 7 inversions cause the second immelmann is noninverted :)
