Mine arrive this afternoon after my basic fanatec pedals that came with ddpro started messing up , the loadcell i upgraded to started braking on its own and wouldnt hold a constant pressure without fluctuating massively , bit the bullet and ordered v2 . Was just wondering what would be the roughly same preassure as original loadcell? As in what combo to use ?

Having just got a G923, I noticed on the box is said it has a dual clutch system. While I was aware this was something which started off on F1 cars, there was no real explanation of how set it up, how to use it or how it works. You've covered all the bases, thanks. While it's not a set-up with paddles exactly as you see in open single seaters, it's definetly a launch control system I'll be making pleanty use of. Now I can do practice starts at the end of a practice session to fine tune the clutch settings, just like they do on the telly. Thanks

Are your pedals base plate parallel to the ground? I have difficult to find a good position

Handbrake closer to wheel or shifter closer to wheel comes down to what discipline you do mostly. Rally drivers try to put shifter closer because that is what they are doing more (shifting way more often than using handbrake). Drifters dont have to shift as much on a run but use the handbrake a lot so its closer to the wheel.

Those are great examples! Thank you for your insight 🙏. I’ve gotten thru qualifying after qualifying and I don’t usually have problems, positioning enforcing my line, pulling over, guarding. I mostly have problems turn one. I always see the crash as it’s happening. The victim mentality is bad because then you start to anticipate crashing instead of anticipating a way thru the chaos.

Hey Laurence. Love your reviews and had bought a simagic alpha and Gt Neo with the p1000 hydraulic pedals. Can you please please please address why and how simagic have dramatically reduced the power supply for all bases and in turn disgustingly reduced torque on each device. I knowingly did not buy the Alpha Mini as I’ve tried the newer ones and they feel weaker than a Moza R9, but for a Moza R12 to be stronger than a 15nm Alpha is inexcusable. FFB detail is top notch but the lack of power makes this a waste of money if you’re going for a 15nm base. I’d like to have used this at around 50-65% gain to get more detail and have enough torque to go with it but I’m now running it at 80% and it’s clipping. My settings are fairly rudimentary, I have all filters always off except for the feedback frequency and feedback detail settings which I’m playing about with but this has no relevance to the power output. Holding torque is far too weak. Can’t be selling this as a 15nm device. They’ve honeyd icked everyone into buying them by having reviewers say they’re overpower to now selling them under powered. False advertising and they will lose satisfaction from all of their new customers.

I've been using the Soelpec DDU for a while and it is a wonderful addition to my race rig. I too like to have a seperate wheel and dash so I waited a while and now your dream has come true. They announced a screenless wheel that is the same wheel without the screen. I have ordered one and will have the separate wheel and screen of my dreams :) Thanks for the review and enjoyed the style! PS: I'm not rich but retired with enough to indulge myself with my main hobby and still have plenty to live on. For me, Lucky is a better word than rich. Thanks again and I own about 6 wheels so I understand your passion for them!!

Have been using the SW20 (V2) happily since 2017.. when i bought it, i got one hour of tutorial by Ollie, and i actually didn't tighten the bolts enough either. Since then, 3 of my friends have tried, 2 of them have bought the second they got home.... it is just thát good. And yeah, i'm not a hardware expert, and even i got it sorted in the end. I'm using a Wooden Nardi 350mm 4-spoke round racing wheel on my DD wheelbase, bought an adapter from the hardware store to fit it. Also bought a button box for it, but i'm not too happy with the cabling for that. I love how the steeringwheel(base) can let you turn 2160 degrees maximum, too much fun when driving truck sims, but, the cable for the button box wont like it. I just wish someone would make bluetooth or wifi button/flappypaddle boxes with just an on off switch and aa-battery that has to be replaced once a year. Oh well, evolution evolves. Wish i could still get the V3 encoder somewhere....they were sold out quite rapidly.

I wonder why they go with their own front mounting pattern instead of following what is already out there. Now you have to add the cost of their mount to your decision.
