The flexibility to book a class last minute makes it tempting. But with preply there are many Spanish tutors for $3 an hour. I can choose the tutors I like the most and schedule 2 classes every day for the same price as baselingo. Plus I know exactly what I'm getting because i can get to know the tutors and have a trial class before subscribing.

Thank you for this review, Jonny. I have been self-studying Spanish for a few months but plan to start learning it in earnest now. In about a year, I will leave Canada and move to a Spanish-speaking country. I am thinking about a Latin American country (vs Spain) because I think as a person with a darker skin tone, I would stand out less/fit in better in Latin America. I'm not sure which country though - still narrowing it down. So far, I have it narrowed down to Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. I'm curious if you or anyone reading have any thoughts or advice on this topic.

That's a good video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

Seeing these make me feel worried about my upcoming super sprint. I know it’s not easy but I’m determined but yet, I’m so afraid there would be circumstances that I can’t control. It does make me feel very worried but I can’t cancel it now. I hope to complete this for my A1/2 level and then from there will take it slow as I still have my korean too. If Lingoda is good I will continue with them and another regular sprint (only when I’m confident) as I feel upper beginner is quite comfortable to navigate around a bit better with more learning opportunities. You had 90 days and I only have 60 but yet I’m scared now

This was pretty helpful sir. I have a lot of Spanish speaking people in my area, and I work for a local VFD and I remember one call we got, we had a Spanish speaking patient and my partner looked at me and said "you're young, do you speak Spanish?" and you should've seen the look on his face when I told him "no, but I speak some German." they have teachers that are from the carribean cost of Columbia. but not from DR PR or Cuba but they can teach you jerga ( slang) from those countries witch is slang with is more of what you are trying to learn but you have to get to level 4 of the program before they could teach that to you that. it a good program I could only understand Spanish from taking it in high school and and college but after six months of doing the program I could speak and you will get a accent

Hey man first I'm proud of you of posting this and I see that you're taking a break from posting. Hopefully you're going strong, and if not I understand. Not understanding is brutal and many of us are in the same boat. I think the biggest hurdle to overcome is understanding the "you" conjugation since its just not normal for english speakers. Also, I gotta say those questions were a little abnormal in their phrasing so I can see how it was easy to get caught up "que has hecho en los ultimos dias" takes a few mental hurdles to jump through to figure that out. My biggest tip to help you and this is going to sound odd, but start learning the subjunctive. It makes no sense, but I think part of getting better in Spanish is mastering sentence starters that can also give you time to think about your response. Here I stress a lot the word "que" as an means to give myself time to think, (sometimes I'll just say "quueeeee") although that may not be proper but who cares. A lot of these starters are the first half of the subjunctive which would make learning it easier. I would also say learn present/past progressive. Estoy/Estaba + girundio. It limits the amount of time spent on conjugation. I hope these help, keep up the good work
