It's a new year and my Spanish journey continues. I cant help but wonder what would have been different if I had known these 4 things before I had even started. ~ INSTAGRAM- thespanish_leo
That's what I'm doing right now. Consuming videos about learning Spanish instead of learning Spanish. I think I have watched just about every single one of Steve Kaufman's videos by now.
What a FANTASTIC video! All of it 100 percent true! I love the analogy to a marathon! I am completely skeptical of the thousands of sites the claim to bring you from zero to fluency in 6 months. Learning a new language is a life long process. Measure your progress against yourself. The more proficient I become in my Spanish journey, the less noticeable the progress is. I have been learning Spanish for at least a decade ( not consistently) and I still struggle to speak. However, I am still motivated and tenacious about this topic! Y otra vez. Gracias 🙏🏽 por un buen trabajo! Este es un video excelente! Estaré suscríbete a tu canal!
I just went up to the lil Hispanic food truck in our town last week & it was a kid working the window..I asked "Hablas español?" and feel like deep down I was prayin' he'd tell me no. Practicing on Duolingo where I can easily reference the words to read is so much different than speaking it. (PS congrats, you're at 222 subscribers right now!)
Yes, I was looking at so many programs out there for learning Spanish and realized I had too much. So I settled on Yabla and am working on Spanish itself and not clogging myself up with tons of programs. And thank you for your service to your community as a police officer.
Thank you for the advice :)

Sir, please don't take this the wrong way, but you are probably the smartest cop that I have ever heard speak. Instant follow!

Thank you very much friend! Studying is so much more enjoyable once we realize like you said that it’s a life long process!
