The two biggest improvements I did to my cart was a lift kit and and extra axle. I did toss the original wheels but because of weight not rolling resistance. The pair were over 30 lbs. I replaced them with four medical wheels with urethane tires. and alloy rims which I drilled to further cut down on the weight. In the end the cart is lighter with two axles and the lift than it was stock. I don't do much fishing in the sand and do have a smaller cart with 26" bike wheels for sand. A buddy made his own wheels using two hand truck wheel hubs and 3/4" plywood discs for wheels. They cut through the sand with ease and roll over obstacles easily. He gets 5 to 6 years of hard use out of them. I was thinking of doing the same thing but using bike tires to put some rubber on them. I found saving weight was more important here than the type of tires, and tire diameter did more for rolling resistance than the type of tire. In sugar sand, I'm sure the wheeleez tires are better but not enough to justify the expense. I fish mostly on the piers these days but do hit the sand in the fall a bit. When i do I just take the smaller cart with the taller wheels or I take a pole and backpack and bags for my catch.

That Daiwa is the lowest of the low-end rods... It's a giant wet noodle... No backbone... That's why it's $20.00 You get what you pay for…. Most of the time and sometimes you score big time when Walmart or Big 5 marks the wrong price on the rod... Lol 🤣 I don't buy my gear at Walmart but one day, ... I was curious about what they carried in rods... To my amazement, ... I saw some high-end rods that were mismarked in price, .... A $400 St. Croix rod for $89.00. Just crazy, crazy mistakes… 🤣🤣🤣

What size wheels and how did you attach the new axle?

Been surf fishing for 50+yrs. And never got more than a few yards away from my poles. To do so I think it is not being very responsible

He wasn't that big he might not have had worms and doesn't matter everyone says they just cut around the worms and your fine never got sick or anything there worms are huge like grub worms but I use to say the same about the worms then hearing from hundreds of people and seeing it there's no problem with the worms except longer cutting the fish

Thanks for the video. For a more accurate test, I'd have your base hr be the same for each initial test pull. You've already exerted yourself for the first pull, the second pull may not be accurate. Nonetheless, thanks for the content!

I believe you are more than likely fishing a cut rather than a rip current. It's really difficult to spot the rip current on the video but easy to spot the cut.

When do sheepshead season start....is it best to fish on the bottom or mid way down the pillon
