Got a blue crab on my last drop last trip out. It filled the bottom of my 5 Gal bucket! Was done fishing, so we ate him! 😆😂
Last week i was fishing a small bridge near Panacea. had only caught a garfish,a ray and an eel, was a weird day. I was out of bait and about to leave when i said fuckit i`ll throw these shrimp heads on here. Put two big shrimp heads on a 4o hook and caught my PB black drum , had to be 40 lbs, and in about 2 feet of water! NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER!

You can, it comes down to personal preference. I don’t really care for black drum that big. I prefer the ones that still have stripes so I let those go.
I literally just had that same experience this past Tuesday at Bob Sykes. Drove 19 hours from PA, battled 25 mph winds, almost gave up but caught a greedy blue crab, cut him up , threw him out and caught me a huge, big ugly. Learned that trick from you and your brother so thanks and tight lines bro!!

Good job hanging in there. You really can't be successful at fishing and be easily discouraged. It's that simple. Plus, as Kyle keeps proving, you don't need a boat to land big fish. I've fished since I was 8 yo and never owned a boat (been out a few times in friend's boats....) But still managed *(brag* *time)* to land a 47" snook at Sanibel Island and a 45 lb wahoo from the Lake Worth pier, both way back when. *Yeah, I'm sure there's plenty of men & women that have caught just as big or bigger. I really wasn't bragging & it's not a competition.* I just wanted to point out that if anyone hasn't landed a "monster" themselves, have faith - it's doable. You just have to learn how to fish what you have and be patient. Keep watching guys like Kyle and pay attention.😁👍

The worms are actually harmless. A couple months ago we decided to cook a drum and it had worms in it. The worms made no difference and are harmless.
