@@mircomputers1221 Sì, in parte è vero, ma usare una iso di Windows modificata da terzi è abbastanza stupido, anche ipotizzando che "iso x" sia pulita, molto spesso vengono tolti dei componenti importanti, anche relativi alle sicurezza pur di velocizzare il pc, rendendo però più facile prendere virus. E già questo, a mio parere, la dice tanto sul cliente, poi installa anche programmi da chissà dove, un po' se l'è meritato ecco ahaha. Ci vorrebbe un po' più di attenzione sulla privacy e sicurezza, magari dopo questa starà più attento 🙄

@@_near_8977 Windows defender è stato disattivato per sempre dal virus e abbiamo messo un altro antivirus, succede identico su qualsiasi build di Windows anche questo, nel momento in cui appunto disattivi le protezioni per installare software non legit non conta più nulla il resto perché hai dato accesso incondizionato

Qemu è usato da trojan miner, infatti il risultato pratico è la macchina rallentatissima e la ventola sempre accesa nonostante il sistema ottimizzato con raffreddamento migliorato undervolt ecc. Tolto il miner, la ventola ha smesso di girare e il computer è molto più veloce. I video li faccio appunto per informare, se poi vuoi credere che sia altro fai pure :)

@@justtian in che secondo del video dico che QUEMU sia un miner? Dato che so benissimo cosa è, e sono un informatico, è molto raro che dica cose sbagliate. Se ascolti attentamente le mie parole nel video, ti accorgerai che una persona che sa di cosa parla riesce ad essere molto sintetica (il video è di 1 minuto) dando informazioni utili e pratiche senza dire cose sbagliate.

Esatto, che rende la cosa ridicolmente inefficiente, ma suppongo sia fatto per loro comodità visto che si trova identico su macos. Se vuoi fare un osservazione tecnica, ascolta il video è chiaramente detto che è una cartella nella quale si nascondono i miner, non che qemu sia un miner.

è un chiaro esempio di prodotti fatti non per funzionare bene, ma per vendere; allo stesso modo chi vende macchine con 4 slot di ram ddr5 occupati per fare 4x32 = 128gb invece di consigliare 2x48 = 96 che vanno il 50% più veloci

@@mircomputers1221 Last time I overclocked a CPU was on socket 775 made for core 2 duo, where I put server 4 core Xeon and overclocked it from 2,3 to 3 GHz, but it was always working at 3 GHz if I remember correctly. Nice to know this case with 12400f is not the same and it goes up only when pushed and the idle speed is lower. Thank you for the responce, have a nice day!

my battery only has 260 cycles, its swollen so i depresssurized it and taped it over, will it last the rated 1000 cycles before giving out? the health is 88% original capacity.

@@mircomputers1221 say i have 280 cycles and it reports the max capacity as 7500, all 6 cells are swollen so i punctured them all, quickly taped the cells and charged the battery while monitoring the cell temps for any hot spots, battery works fine lasts a long time, apple claims these are good till 1000 cycles, will this battery last 1000 cycles? 300 cycles the battery lost 900 MAH from its 8400 mah spec, is it possible that another 300 cycles will lead to a loss of 900 mah only?

You have to know your expected score, 1255 r15 is awful, 12400f on MSI boards easily get 1800 with stock coolee using Lite Load undervolt. That's ASUS performance..

@@mircomputers1221 yep it does, but I feel like with auto vcore settings the base vcore value could shoot up depending on load and with +ve offset it could possibly damage the cpu further.. Normal would keep the base cpu voltage constant and the vid offset would still work, what do you think?

macos spends the initial 5 to 15 minutes after boot doing background stuff, did you run cinebench waiting that much?

@@mircomputers1221 yes.. I didn't run Cinebench right after it booted. it was idling for a long time before doing the Cinebench & Geekbench.. run it multiple times with rest in between.. but got the same scores.. ☹️

@@dukeanastacio2579 i usually get the same scores between system, the difference comes when background apps are running, macos don't give foreground processes the same priority as Windows does and that can degrade scores.

@@mircomputers1221 Hello! my issue was resolved. i just changed SMBios from MacPro7,1 to iMacPro1,1 and it solved my problem now i'm getting about the same scores.. 😁

yes, 2 dimm, motherboard is perfectly aware of that..

you will lose performance as temperature rises :) its a sweetspot, and you will have to find the one for your specific sample / board combination

any sufficient load is appropriate as long as you keep it consistent, the point is to isolate the cooler variable; r23 uses maybe 5% more power as its more avx2 intensive, not a night and day difference Ycruncher is going to be even harder then..

i disagree, 1.2v ram is not a major heat, if i had to cool it i would use thermal pads to bridge the nand chips to the main PCB and dump heat there the heat spread on the top of the computer case, exp on the metal structure of the keyboard, is actually very useful to improve general heat dissipation

purtroppo non è sempre così, su am5 alcuni casi (non ho ben capito quali) quando si disattiva il memory retrain (cioè abilita fast boot) il sistema diventa instabile con il procedere dei boot. È un enorme problema perché difficile da diagnosticare e non sembra che inserendo tutti i timings primari e secondari manualmente si risolva

ehe, questo è il bello: intel garantisce quei valori oltre i quali tecnicamente sei in "overclock", questo perchè i processori intel li fanno appunto solo loro, intel; ma dato che a livello pratico il loro controller di memoria mediamente regge valori molto più alti sia per "silicon lottery" del memory stesso, sia in base a scheda madre e ram i produttori di queste componenti li vendono in teoria "certificati" per lavorare a valori più alti, che però non sempre alla fine sono stabili
