      Also why is the hair of the nurse at the end being blown about. The B17 on its takeoff roll would be nowhere near her. It's like me sitting in an airport suffering jet blast from a plane taking off. This is a wonderful series but do they ever indulge in some silly tropes.

    The episode “Big Brother” should’ve followed this story for continuity’s sake. Also the “Grant Me No Favor” episode where Gallagher told his brother on the phone that they “made it back.” Back from where? This was Gallagher’s first shuttle raid and he told his brother Preston (played by Jack Lord) about having landed in Yugoslavia for repairs. Then they continued to Africa where the brothers met. This episode should’ve been arranged way earlier.

    I don’t understand Gallagher’s attitude about Stovall in this episode. He must be confused and doesn’t know how to react to Harvey’s determination to be a combat pilot. He’s hostile, concerned, worried, disapproving, yet glad (if Harvey passes because he’s short of pilots). He’s mixed up emotionally.

    I feel that the message here was that the military here in the US should have been integrated a long time ago. Also there is a message about Vietnam in which folks who did not wish to be drafted were leaving to go into hiding to protest the war.

    Technically it is very flawed, they can fly the B17 to East Germany and back so France would be no problem, also they could have fighter escort into and out of France with P47s Still love the show but there are soooo many technical errors on soo many episodes.
