I FINALLY played Condemned 2 (And It's Great!)
Played Resident Evil 5 and 6 as a kid. Was pretty excited to play the next installment of this horror theme co-op action shooter franchise only to shit my pants in the opening.
La version française est incroyable j'ai encore fini le jeu hier
There *IS* a fetch quest, the stupid dismembered clown quest, and it's considered one of the worst in the game!
metroid had samus as one of 1st games as a woman
The funny thing is that the game that does the "Ubisoft formula" the best is the game that destroyed it. Breath of the wild. All of the quests are pretty damn linear, the map reveals itself in chunks, and it's always telling you where to go. In a lot of ways, breath of the wild is a lot like these games. So what makes it work? It's the fact that the end of the game is revealed to you at essentially the start of the game. Ubisoft games can feel so tedious because you NEED to do certain quests, whereas Zelda could be either 5 hours long or 100 hours depending on how much of the game you want to play. To me, it's still the unprecedented goat of open world design because of this choice.
7 is my favourite game out of the whole series. Thank you so much to everyone involved who made this piece of art.
Klicked on the title, just to answer: "because it was awesome!"
So it is like fallout 2 in this regard, it doesn't matter if you pass or fail a skill check it still lead you to the end.
Alternate title: "How Capcom is unoriginal so they have to copy Hideo Kojima's PT to save RE"
Cool misinformation. PT had nothing to do with RE7's look and feel, all evidence and statements from the RE7 team say otherwise.
Its 2024 and Iam watching this video again. Something about this video is so addicting.
This guy’s like AVGN Lite. All the rants, none of the skits. I like it!
I am really bored of indies as well, though. Of all these retro graphics games that look deliberately underwhelming, and also this seeming superiority complex behind it all, like you just aren't openminded enough to enjoy the "art" of these 2-dimensional pixels. Look, you're right, I'm sure the gameplay is fun, but it's just not what I want.
Open world design is a fcking annoying and has 0 replayability. In Elden RIng i cant remember how many times i said to myself: why am i spending 2 hours exploring just to find some throwing knifes and a goddamn liver...... Open world games need an actually dynamic world that changes even without the influence of the player. Like for example Total War Games turn out different based on which ai faction performs the best. Atleast sometimes the "world" turns out completely different if u dont influence it too much.
9:10 were you born yesterday ? all content in CRPG are quests
is possible that this is simply where we are at... movies are intentionally terrible, so everyone talks about them and it sticks around that way for a long long long long long long time. You kniow - like Donald Trump.
every re game is perfect but re7 describing what started resident evil hits diff
Long time RE fanboy, one of my favorite franchises of all time. Re7 was such a drastic pivot in the company and gameplay. Absolutely phenomenal video game
Re 7 is my favorite re game.
it's changed nothing as a long time CRPG fans i have a long list of issues BG3 comes short of games like pathfinder wrath of the righteous and i don't care about the awe normie plebs feel cause of their ignorance.
I'm I the only one who enjoyed the game 😂 it was my childhood game I spent so many hrs playing it
ok?
You don't follow the story in BG3, the game follows YOUR story
BG3 isn't that special tbh, people just have forgotten how amazing cRPGs are. Dragon Age: Origins is already an ancient game, but BG3 is in many ways a carbon copy of it (and that was intentional goal from Larian and imho a good thing). For anyone who has played cRPGs, BG3 is not that ground-breaking (honestly) apart from how much media attention it has gained. To put it bluntly: gameplay-wise it is a simplified version of Divinity Original Sins 2, but with the cinematics of Dragon Age. In story and writing aspect it pales in comparison to Torment, Disco Elysium and Pillars of Eternity. Gameplay, companion and scale -wise it pales in comparison to Baldur's Gate 2 and Owlcat's Pathfinders and Rogue Trader However, BG3 manages to hit the sweet spot of adding just enough of every one of these aspects without becoming too hard to approach for casuals, while still staying relatively addictive/intriguing for cRPG maniacs (like myself). The only real (and it is a massive) problem I have with BG3, is how they backed away from their original vision for the story (which is partially preserved in DUrge) that sounded so much more amazing than the watered down story they changed into mid-way (running out of money might have been the reason) TL;DR; BG3 isn't that revolutionary of an cRPG, it just brought the big budget cRPGs back to the main stream fro hiatus, and in a big way. So if you have already finizhed BG3 a couple of times, go give those other cRPG masterpieces ago. They have all aged insanely well, and for me personally, BG2 is still the best cRPG game of all time (far ahead of BG3 in many ways)
Now in the light of how good a game can be do a review on the failure that is Starfield. :D Nah you dont have too, anyone that has played some decent games would be just too bored to a review on that game.
Your tav looks much like mine and i gotta say while it kinda hooked me up to video, it also oddly disturbed me xD
Continue this game!
Story quests don't have to be narrative and many even story games prove this. Unlike in actual DnD, in Baldurs Gate, checks are used mostly for exposition, whether or not you start combat and to sometimes make combat easier. I was extremely disappointed when I succeeded a 30DC check on Thorm only to fight him like normal still. Divinity 2, Pathfinder WotR and BG3 set a completely new standard for these kinds of games while something like Kingdom Come: Deliverance completely changed it up for an action rpg
This show is horrible and I come back to this video every once in a while after a few years
come from the game, stay for the project management lesson
bg 3 is boring game
I am genuinely scared of how unappealing the woman of RE7 is, makes it hard for me to understand why would I bother going after her
SUBJECT SIGMA!?!??!?!?
As much of a weenie I am, RE7 is my favourite RE. Did not know it was such a small team that worked on it. The way they went about developing the game really feels like a product of passion. As much as I like 5/6 they definitely lost a lot of the horror elements and sometimes even felt like an arcade shooter.
I remember when you used certain plasmids, the little sister would comment. Generally, I would explore the areas with them before doing their collections. Two that stick out in my memory are when you shocked someone: The little sister would say, “Look, daddy, he’s dancing! Dancing!” and the second was when you’d use incinerate, and she’d just go, “oooo marshmallow!”
See, for an older lover of RPGs like me who started with games of this sort in the 90s, the thing that BG3 does is simply give me what I've always loved in games, but that I've found was lacking in recent years. I think it changes things much more for younger players who may not have enjoyed the big, beautiful, story-driven RPGs that many of us played in the 90s and 00s. Failure in game choices was always a part of many older RPGs.
As i Code geas fans i think your review is great because i can easily admit despite liking the serious, Code Geas is flawed. Biggest exame of Code Ceas being flawed Lelouch told a joke to Euphimia that she should kill every 11 or go on a rampage and accidentally USED HIS CEAS so Euphimia committed a massacre
lol im buying a new computer only to play this
Quite literally a residence of evil
Especially the fact its on vr. Its got way more of a creepy vibe than village
selling shitty turn based fight totally murdering my childhood and fckall to do with the original games, with a massheoraghe of cutscenes and voice overs on bland generic graphics, that's what it changed
12:16 Sewer-gator's producer
He may be french canadian but he will always be mexican to me 😂
Sad that this got a season 2 but not Chivalry of a failed knight didn’t
I still enjoy it it’s 2024
7:42 no!! Not scratch looking sad cuz he thinks you're gonna return him!!!!
The game is easy all the way until Hephaestus core. That's when it starts to get actually hard
Great Video ❤
I knew the exact scene you were gonna show for fear 2.
This is the greatest game of all time. 😂
I met Richard Marcinko at his house about 10 years ago. He hated being called Dick. I asked him about the game, he said he had absolutely nothing to do with it.
