I admit the record being played backwards was a little creepy
I'm usually not a big horror game fan but my first playthrough of this game is one of my favorite game experiences ever. Very underrated

I couldn't bring myself to finish it, I played it like two hours.. I don't know it just didn't felt super intersting at the time, couldn't get in.

super cool tech implemented in this game.
I really enjoyed this game when it came out. There are quite a few moments, visually, that I'd never seen in games before - sometimes quite jarring ' WTF am I looking at right now!?' -moments. You know them when you see them. The graphic transitions are beautifully fluid, and there is a welcomed subtlety to the horror when the story calls for it to pull back juuusstt a little to keep you guessing. They told an interesting story, and it felt like the team really put time and effort into making it more than just another 'walking around a spooky house' game. Unfortunately Layers of Fear 2 sucked so you can hard pass on that.

Yes, within the next two weeks! And yes, I think he will be now that he's quicker. His ability is very strong in the right circumstances and largely contextual but at least now he'll be able to get around better when he's not in those situations.

Freaky? Yup!
Loses its way a tad, midway; yet commendably redeems itself? Very much so!
Scary? Um!... Well?... No! Not particularly.
Worth your time? Absolutely 😁
