In my 'normal car guy' eyes you've done a great job and you passed on knowledge or at least basics of it. And to you guys reading - question - how to properly do it incl. waxing, on the white car? (sounds a bit stupid I know, but I had a problem with polishing some scratches by hand in the day light).
