The co-pilot and FE not harnessed in, the duct tape, the rust. If that is any indication of how the aircraft was maintained? No thank you.......but......"thank you, come again".

I can sleep listening to these jets. Travelled so many times on Biman as a child on the DC-10s.

Co-pilot mistakenly turned on the auto-pilot, but the Captain immediately caught it. The Captain asked him to correct it and scold him little bit also. Good job by the Captain, he was in control for the whole time.

Planes like biman are almost scrapped by west and European bangladesh will still use outdated planes well over used. They buy it for 1mil. Its a big risk to fly To dangerous

Very shoddy with the co-pilot not strapping in correctly. In the event of an incident he could hit his head on the glareshield and be incapacitated thus leave the captain to deal with the pilot emergency. Both the Captain and FE should have spoken to him as one of the Take Off checks is "Seats and Harnesses". I spent a year flying with Biman and this was typical of a few pilots who had no belief that they could be involved in an accident. They were wrong. The Head of Flight Safety at Biman crashed a DC10-30 at Chittagong, fortunately while the aircraft was written off, everybody got out without any fatalities.

Major Lassen should be MUCH wider known. I heard about him in the Audible book Churchill's Secret Warriors - The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII By: Damien Lewis. An AMAZING group of men and Maj Lassen's exploits are incredible. Thank you and your colleagues. I wish you were all around now. The world would be a better place.
