..my wife has oasis 9th gen whose battery is at its end, and im preparing for the inevitable and there's no tutorial on how to open it up other this tragedy, but at least we can see what to expect. im thinking..using hot air to loosen glue, and then use a syringe to carefully apply a small amount of isopropyl alcohol around the edges and obviously in the middle where the adhesive is located, allow the alcohol to seep in for a few minutes to help dissolve the adhesive...then little by little gently pry it open and try not to break the display🙊🙉🙈

Hi I have a Kindle paperwhite 10th generation it resently started to have some issues. It has started to work on its own as in any function is starting on its own randomly or when I turn one page of a book is automatically skips to 6 or 7 pages ahead. What do you think is the problem here and do you think opening it up will be of any help?

Hi Dev i have two kindles 6th edition and one's screen is broken. Other one is functional but a de registered device. I plan to swap the screen from my de registered device to the new one whose screen for broke. Swapping screens will be straight forward as per your video right? I would be able to run a screen from one kindle to another right?

Some tips after fixing 2 mouses: - Tools : Phillips 0 (PH0) and Torx 5 (T5) screwdrivers. Thin blade. - Do not fully remove the non-stick pads: lift both sides of the pads just enough to get to the screws (this way you won't damage the pad so much). - Do not disconnect the ribbon. The fix is perfectly doable with both parts of the mouse still linked by the ribbon.

It sounds so stupid, but it is honestly true that this fixed my mouse as well... The point "carefully remove the bottom stickers" though isn't quite that easy.

Wow. This was it. Totally fixed it. Just loosened it back ~ .75 turns for each of the (2x) screws and that was good enough for me to feel a good clicking. I've had this mouse for almost 5 years now, and the past year it has started to have these symptoms past year or so. today became completely unusable. Should have noticed that the thumb button was getting harder to press (and stuck now of course). Now my mouse is smooth as it was when it was new, no lagging. Perfect! (at least for now) Will update if anything changes, saved me from buying a new mouse! Thanks.

I think, it would have been easier if the kindle was placed on heating pad and then use a heat gun. It may have made the job easier
