    Nice video, thanks. Does the Hall Effect sensor (looks like a SOT23 semiconductor package) have a number on it, given its size the number is 3 to 4 digits often a numeric or two and an alpha or two ?
    I have other uses for this sensor type but, rather than get any sensor Id like some identical to this one, thanks

    Hello there, I'm really happy that you made this video, I have one really important question tho, do you know the exact name of this magnetic sensor so people can buy it on aliexpress, the issue with pxc550 turning off without any reason is very common and with that people can reapir them

      Can zoom in on an HD version of the video - part number looks like ( )13 with some manufacturer symbol after that...
      Ah ha, the wonders of google as when typing in a search it shows the most likely pre-empted, so type in Hall Effect (HE) 13 and it adds a 7 for total 137, so a search for that shows a few HE sensors especially OH137 but, in a different package - no surprise as manufacturers change packages now and then, the package in the video is a "SOT23", heres one thats in either package:-

    This is what fails on these headphones. I added a much stronger magnet to mine to try to fix it. It’s improved but still randomly shuts down. Garbage headphones in my opinion. Doesn’t matter how good the sound is if it doesn’t turn/stay on.

    • @LaggerSVK
      @LaggerSVK Před 3 lety

      Pretty sure thats automatic pause which works "randomly" and you can switch it off by APP. I was looking on this video to look how the automatic pause sensor works but it was totally omitted here.

      @@LaggerSVK no that doesn´t work, the problem is the magnet sensor, if you change that problem solved, but now where can i buy that sensor??

      @@elfornix i havent teared so i dont. It switches off/ on right? My problem was with autopause there was no switching just pausing

      What size was the magnetic that you got?

    Hi. I have a huge problem. I gave my earphones to solder Bluetooth switch and deactive magnetic one to an electrician and he removed the dot from board completly instead soldering the wire. Is there a way to fix his mistake or the board is completly gone?

    Hez my dude, do you happen to know exactly what sensor the magnetic sensor is? Mine is switching on and off again for no reason and I'm trying to troubleshoot

    • @diyeasy_in
      @diyeasy_in  Před 4 lety

      May be that magnetic sensor is the problem... there also one proximity sensor to detect if you are wearing the headset or not, if you pull down from your head, song will pause automatically bcos of this sensor

    • @LaggerSVK
      @LaggerSVK Před 3 lety

      @@diyeasy_in This. I looked mainly your videos to find out where and which sensor type they use for the auto pause. You never showed it and havent seen any location where the sensor could be. I am sure that the sensor is in right earcup but maybe is it really proximity? They could theoretically sense the acoustic using the speaker itself and maybe thats also the reason why it works bad but who knows as nobody really research this.

      Yes, you can remove the sensor and use the bluetooth on switch (hidden under the top side) for switching on the headset... I don't have the url right now, plz google it

    Where do you find the flex cable. I have searched and can't find one. Please provide a link for this. I hate when companies don't provide spares. Was going to buy the pxc 550ii but not after this breaking

    Stupid video shows how the magnetic sensor works, but not how to disassemble the headphones to get to it, nor how to fix it if it's not working! I just want to know how I can get my 550s to switch on!

    • @lookoutforchris
      @lookoutforchris Před 3 lety +2

      Throw them out. Mine am randomly turn on/off because of this stupid sensor. I added a much stronger magnet to the headphones which helps but doesn’t eliminate the problem. They should stop selling these headphones and any others with this same design.

      There is a video that shows how to solder that sensor's wires into the Bluetooth switch to use that for on off. czcams.com/video/bEcm6vWX4JI/video.html
