It's interesting, but not surprising how many people don't know teas. I did need a hint to get the first word and figure out the theme was tea, but after that I didn't have any issues, but I'm a huge tea drinker. Gunpowder is a bit more esoteric, but I see it all the time in stores with any kind of selection of slightly higher end teas and most coffee shops that sell tea, will choose either gunpowder or jasmine (or Matcha but that's pretty different) as their type of green tea.

Aha I know this one Fish tale is a sort of story that is so exaggerated that it seems unlikely to be true. This phrase came from how fisherman often exaggerate the size of their fish, especially the ones that escape (so you can't verify it)

as someone else said definitely dont start with the Sunday crosswords because they increase in difficulty as the week goes on!! Mondays are usually solvable for me in around 10 min. also, protip for someone who plays a lot of the bigger puzzles - don't doubt all of your answers so much or the puzzle will take forever to get done. I usually type the first thing that comes into my mind and then move on - if a conflict arises later then I'll rethink it. if i cant think of anything I'll just skip and come back to it. solves most of these a lot faster

Being an Indian, a lot of the Mini Crosswords confuse me because they tend to get very specific to US sometimes. But... this tea Strands was too easy for me hahaha Indians love Tea!
