You know the one thing I hate about Blender is the fact that they change their UI so much. Everytime I try to go back to pick up where I left off I have to learn all the most basic stuff all over again.

Hi! ive followed yourtutorial but for some reason when i change thickness it seems like outline moves and shows whats under - instead of getting thick lines its like they moved- basically two sided option did not work and theres lack of back culling?

I'm ten minutes in and i feel your pain dude. i also work all the time, all my money goes on basic costs of living and generally i have no money to do anything anymore. Luckily my hobbies of making music, blender and skateboarding are mostly free or i'd be about ready to kill myself ! The inflation in the last few years is just ridiculous. I teach 1st grade in an International science school and despite everything increasing in cost, my wage is the same as it was in 2019. I also relate to the ADHD thing, for me it usually is when i have a lot going on in my subconcious, like i do now, unpaid bills, unfulfilled plans of trips i can't afford, still catching up from a costly pseudo divorce/heartbreak. All those things really effect my capacity to sit down and make things. I have barely made any music this year which is really unlike me. Luckily Blender has saved me, because usually when i can't make music i slump into a horrible depression. Hmmm, so i think when you get your finances a bit better, the concentration and focus will come back. Your channel helped me so much to really take my blender use from just fucking around to actually wanting to develop my own style, and after a year and a bit i'm so glad i stuck with blender and now I can make things from my own imagination. I wish you all the best dude ! Your work has inspired many of us, and although this sort of love doesn't help you in the black and white details of the world (BILLS !), i hope you know you are a legend to a lot of us ! Take care man !

nice! in some of your other tutorials you do stencil painting, but in this one you made the entire texture outside of blender. what makes you decide which way to texture? are some objects better one way or the other?
