Where to see PUFFINS in England?! Our 1st trip after LOCKDOWN! Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire
This was our first trip after lockdown and we finally saw Puffins!! We went bird watching at Bempton Cliffs, the only place on the UK mainland where you can see Puffins!
We've never really gone bird watching before this and we both loved the experience. It was such a beautiful way to spend the day, watching all the sea birds soaring over the cliffs and flying in to nest. We saw so many birds sitting on eggs and little baby chicks.
The highlight of the day was having two puffins perch on the cliff just metres from the lookout where we were standing. They stayed there for a long time and we were able to get a really close look at them! They are seriously adorable.
Visiting Bempton Cliffs Sea Bird Centre and Nature Reserve in Yorkshire is a really great idea for a day trip in the UK, perfect for those Yorkshire staycations too! As it is an open space we were able to easily social distance from the other bird watchers.

We are Jori and Malika, a couple from Australia living in the U.K., and documenting our adventures all around the world. We publish a weekly travel vlog to share with our friends and family, and we'd love for you to come with us 😊
We started Beyond Your Doorstep as a way of documenting our travel so that we could look back on it ourselves. We started off posting photos, and then blogging, and now we vlog basically everywhere we go. We know travel is hard, and it's expensive, so we try and keep it as real as possible. Jori works as an engineer and Malika works as a waitress (*it's weird talking in the 3rd person*) 😂We live in a little countryside town in England where we work 9-5 most of the year. We live in a tiny studio apartment and try to keep our costs down as much as possible. We travel whenever we can and edit our vlogs at night and on the weekends. It's a pretty huge workload but we love reliving our adventures as we edit and publish our travel vlogs. We may not be the quintessential digital nomad travel couple, but we love this adventure we're on!
We love seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and tasting food from all over the world! Join us on our journey exploring this beautiful planet we all call home!
If you've read this far, thank you so so so much ❤️We hope you subscribe (and hit the bell) to join us on our adventures ❤️

This is a compilation of shots my we've taken from our 2019 travels, pre coronavirus. Looking back, there's so much I see that is no longer OK since the pandemic began, but I think it's important to recognise the bond that people share doesn't go away just because of lockdown. I have been using that campsite since 1976 when I hiked the Coast to Coast as a way of getting fitter to join the Army. After I let the military I often went back for the Peace and Quiet. I used it again on my Hike to Scafell in 1980 and have returned approx every 2 yrs since then. That are is registered as the Wettest Area in the UK. Most of the time I have used it I alway pitch my tent near the Toilet Block as its the highest part of the site. Remember what happened this year if you ever return. All the Best for Future Adventures. Tony the retired Hiker in Essex.

Thank you very much for the video and for your personal recommendations. These places are really famous and are places of massive traffic jams. But after watching the video, I realised that the Land's End is not such an interesting place for me to visit. I really liked the Minack theatre, it has a great location, great view over the ocean and cool atmosphere created by the architecture. It would also be exciting to see a live performance in this open-air theatre.

  • @user-bx8uc9eo1s

Looks like that gorgeous places сall us to feel it’s atmosphere and see the beauty. Minack Theatre is really stunning, unique and quite ancient place located on the open area near the ocean. The theater looks majestic, ocean view breathtaking. The Lands End is real tourist trap because of its location and authenticity. But there are so many different activities, that being there you may not see as time flies. The best thing is the time during which entry ticket is valid. It helps to dip into the atmosphere of that place as well as possible. Nevertheless that there are always lots of tourists these adorable places, even it may be named sights, are definitely worth to visit at least once in the life in person.

I don’t usually get involved in correcting people, but obviously what you were doing with your channel depends wholly on accuracy and description for travellers, not only that I am a Devonian and we invented the party and it doesn’t matter what the corner say so I have sent you evidence of this so you can put an apology on your channel for disrespecting or Devonian ha ha The Oldest Pasty Recipe in the World Although the pasty is most commonly associated with Cornwall, the oldest known recipe for pasties is actually from Devonshire dating back to 1746. We’ve reprinted it here for you if you want to try it yourself. Nowadays, pasties are great for lunch or dinner when served with just about anything. Do you have your own recipe that you use? Perhaps you have on passed down through the generations? Let us know by leaving a comment below. Best wishes and enjoy in your channel Chris.
