- Today we make our way to beautiful Girona in Spain's Catalonian region. We stay in the heart of the Old Quarter in what we think may be the best accommodation in Girona. We take you on our Girona Airbnb tour, and show you the adorable little apartment with views over the bustling street below. It was in the perfect location to explore all that Girona has to offer from it's medieval architecture, to walking the old city walls, and wandering through the winding cobblestone streets.
Stay tuned for the next couple of Spain travel vlogs. We try traditional Catalonian Coca, a sweet bread topped with custard, candied fruits, and nuts for the celebration of the Festival of St John, and join in with the local's festivities as they sing and dance around a bonfire and light firecrackers all through the night in celebration of the summer solstice.

We are Jori and Malika, a couple from Australia living in the U.K., and documenting our adventures all around the world. We publish a weekly travel vlog to share with our friends and family, and we'd love for you to come with us 😊
We started Beyond Your Doorstep as a way of documenting our travel so that we could look back on it ourselves. We started off posting photos, and then blogging, and now we vlog basically everywhere we go. We know travel is hard, and it's expensive, so we try and keep it as real as possible. Jori works as an engineer and Malika works as a waitress (*it's weird talking in the 3rd person*) 😂We live in a little countryside town in England where we work 9-5 most of the year. We live in a tiny studio apartment and try to keep our costs down as much as possible. We travel whenever we can and edit our vlogs at night and on the weekends. It's a pretty huge workload but we love reliving our adventures as we edit and publish our travel vlogs. We may not be the quintessential digital nomad travel couple, but we love this adventure we're on!
We love seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and tasting food from all over the world! Join us on our journey exploring this beautiful planet we all call home!

Haha we had the same driving issues when we were in the UK. We thought for sure we'd return the car without the passanger mirror. It all worked out :) was actually fun
Hahahaha yeah I think it's probably a common thing for anyone having to drive on the other side of the road. I picked it up pretty quickly actually, and it was weird going back to the UK and driving on the left!
Oh my goodness, goodluck with driving on the other side of the road! I seriously could not cope with that! Kierran is good at it, but I am too scared to try it! Haha 😂😂

Girona is so underrated. I've been a couple of times. Fun fact, the red gated bridge across from the bridge you crossed was designed by Eiffel. Cool vid guys.
Yes it's so amazing isn't it! Wow we didn't know that! We went to the red bridge just after finishing this video, I can definitely see the resemblance!
Never heard of Girona before but seems like a great city, and yes we love the narrow little street like alley ways too...great for picture! haha that's a pretty big air bnb guys! thanks for the tour :)
Ah Girona is a MUST SEE! It's one of the best places we've been to! So much culture, and such a beautiful city. We've got a few more videos coming up in the next weeks about Girona. We do a tour of the city and join in on a huge festival!

Hi Jeevan! Our stay in Girona was SO amazing! It's possibly our favourite place in Spain. It was so relaxed, but very cultural too! Yes, we'd love to meet up and maybe shoot a vlog together!
