  • Join us as we visit Cornwall's Ancient Stone Sites. Today we go walking on the moors to explore some Megalithic Stone Circles and Standing Stones.
Today we visit four ancient stone sites found on the moors along Cornwall's West Coast. We visit Mên-an-Tol, a unique stone sight with a circle carved out of a round standing stone. We then get lost on the moors before finally finding Boskednan Stone Circle and Men Scryfa standing stone. Our last stop of the day is an ancient burial site known as Lanyon Quoit.
Thanks for tuning in for another episode of our Cornwall trip! We hope you enjoyed our lighthearted, playful vlog (I think we may have been a little over tired 😂), we had a lot of fun and enjoyed exploring Ancient Cornwall.

We are Jori and Malika, a couple from Australia living in the U.K., and documenting our adventures all around the world. We publish a weekly travel vlog to share with our friends and family, and we'd love for you to come with us 😊
We started Beyond Your Doorstep as a way of documenting our travel so that we could look back on it ourselves. We started off posting photos, and then blogging, and now we vlog basically everywhere we go. We know travel is hard, and it's expensive, so we try and keep it as real as possible. Jori works as an engineer and Malika works as a waitress (*it's weird talking in the 3rd person*) 😂We live in a little countryside town in England where we work 9-5 most of the year. We live in a tiny studio apartment and try to keep our costs down as much as possible. We travel whenever we can and edit our vlogs at night and on the weekends. It's a pretty huge workload but we love reliving our adventures as we edit and publish our travel vlogs. We may not be the quintessential digital nomad travel couple, but we love this adventure we're on!
We love seeing new places, experiencing new cultures, and tasting food from all over the world! Join us on our journey exploring this beautiful planet we all call home!
If you've read this far, thank you so so so much ❤️We hope you subscribe (and hit the bell) to join us on our adventures ❤️

We also got a little lost between Men o tol and the stone circle (detoured by too much water on our chosen path). I wonder if the same lovely local helped us ;-)

Ancient directional markers. The ancient Israelites also placed stone markers to guide their people into what is now known as Europe.
