Beautiful Sam, I took some floral plastic leaves made a lovely leave stamp, also had some plastic beads in shape of butterfly, Sara, and hearts , then got to digging through my charms well just to say possibilities are endless going this way , jar lid rims, texuture candle holders, plastic bb’s I made a nice bubble one , omg I can keep going for days they so many objects lying around that makes some gorgeous textures it is addicting,you find yourself wanting to be so creative with everyday objects lying around doing no good but then you find them to be a creative texture item …. Thanks for sharing just a few of your thoughts I know your mind is full to the brim like everyone else is….. Love all your tutorials thanks “Sam”❤❤

How is this clay dried?? Air dry or oven baked ?

Can a heat gun be used in place of 98% alcohol to dry the clay out? I only have 91%. Since covid we are even lucky to to be able to get 91%. Most shops sell 50-70% only

Even using pliers I can’t seem to tighten the hand drill enough that the bit doesn’t get pushed into the handle with even the smallest pressure. I’ve tried 2-3 different drills, and switched out the barrels repeatedly for a tighter fit. Any suggestions or thoughts?

FYI.... Speaking of receiving old clay, I use the Kato clay Conditioner. The pasta machine makes quick work of the conditioning process.

These turn out very pretty. I was pretty sure you were going to have melted plastic dripping from your fingers each time you touched your work after the heat gun. Then I realized it was probably made out of silicone. None the less, I'm glad you didn't get hurt. The earrings are stunning. The technique seems very doable.😊❤
