    Love this tutorial! So many ideas with just the canes! Thanks for leaving in how you dealt with the scorching problem . It really turned out cute, and I think better than without the flowers. It's more interesting with them.

    Wow! What a huge amount of work, and it's just beautiful. Thanks so much for showing us how to fix it. Did you sand with dry sandpaper? Thanks

    • @JessamaTutorials
      @JessamaTutorials  Před měsícem

      No. I sand with wet sandpaper and then move on to polishing papers which are dry.

    Love the finished bowl. However I am a little confused. I've watched the whole video and gone back to see the parts I needed to see to answer my question. Did you create the inside of the bowl and pop it out and create the outside of the bowl and pop it out after you bake them both and fit them inside of each other or did you leave the bowl inside which it looks like you did. A quick explanation would be much appreciated! I loved your kaleidoscopes. Very unique.

      Hi.
      I baked the first layer inside the ceramic bowl, popped that out of the ceramic bowl once it had cooled and then added the back to it.

    Gorgeous! THank you for sharing your talents with us. Can you tell me where to buy the sanding sheets you used? I'm in the U.S.

      Hi.
      They've been sold out for a bit, but I just got the sanding papers back in the shop. They're on sale at the moment. jessamadesign.etsy.com/listing/1731367476

    Instead of the middle/in between layer being white pearl, could it be scrap clay as it gets covers on both sides?

    Do you happen to have a video where you show all the steps to removing a bowl or something similar, to get it from breaking? Not sure if I’m making sense. But I make miniature stuff and it seems like every time I try to take it off of whatever I have it on it breaks. It’s usually like a miniature mug wrapped around a small piece of wood if that makes sense. I follow another lady on CZcams and her channel is called Sweet Dollhouse Miniatures.

    • @JessamaTutorials
      @JessamaTutorials  Před měsícem

      I don't have a video on that, but I do have some tips.
      First, what clay are you using and how long are you baking?

    • @MichelleJ1822
      @MichelleJ1822 Před měsícem

      @@JessamaTutorials Sculpy, not sure if it’s Premo or III or what but definitely Sculpy. And honestly not sure on the baking time. I use a toaster oven and usually have it on its preset temperature and usually just turn the knob on the timer lol I know that’s probably not the best way of doing it, but I’ve always heard that you can basicLu bake it as long as you want. Just be careful of the temperature.
