❤😮love your Chateau but so many rooms. I think 🤔 nly that one piece of wood that got wet needed replacing. If the wood stays dry it should be fine so not sure what you are doing but paying someone to poison your house. Some mansions had copper roofs that were aupposed to last forever. I sure hope you needed a roof and somone did not sell all that copper and make a killing. Lol. Twice once when they sold the copper and second when they charged uou for a new roof. Lol Anyway I think you are right a smaller one would have been more suitable for two people. Not too many toims tobpaint. My wnglish goes like that when I am thinking of a hot sexy guy like you. Lol.

Wow! You continue to amaze. Sixty-two years ago to the day, i was staying at the Chateau - well, the Hunting Lodge. At that time, the Chateau was owned by Jacques Lacroix and Cosette Harcourt, with whom I stayed that summer. They too were starting to restore it, but they were quite a bit older than you two. I remember they had a consultant - someone from J Arthur Rank Studios - come to assess the place. He found the faint outlines of the formal gardens, and at one point he took me for a hunt to find what he was sure was in the woods - a folie. We did find the ruins, but now I can’t remember where. What a summer , and what a magical place! I have many memories. I’m sure your grandfather would be so proud of what you both are doing - and I’ll bet Jacques would be impressed too. Congratulations on your tv show - will we be able to watch it in the States?
