FWIW, the NH 35 can be serviced. It just costs too much. However, if done, they can be substantially improved. It seems the Seiko skimps on lubrication and adjustment on the NH 35s so as not to give their more expensive movements too much competition.

You should check out their Moon Phase watch. It’s really nice.

That’s a hell of a deal for a great looking watch. I do agree that the Jubilee Style is a little too blingy for this watch. With that said, I got the Jubilee Style for my white dial Ascent, and I plan on wearing as my “dress” watch. Thanks for the great review.

the watch looks great outside in the sun, but it has too much reflections (hi gloss bezel,glass)...so in rooms I see almost nothing of the beauty...it's faceless and dark

I like that the Jubilee bracelet has a proper narrow taper like a Seiko. Most SKX typed watches have only a slight taper on their Jubilee bracelets. I have only two Cadisen watches, and despite producing very safe and somewhat boring watches, for the price I think they're unmatched.

Did you take the measures? 40mm of bezel or dial?

I've had this model in the blue and red design for about six months. My bezel action is still tight and does not have the back play that yours shows. My only gripe is that my watch runs fast. It picks up 5-10 seconds per day. I don't wear it every day so that isn't that big of deal for me.

I love my SD1953. I got mine on sale for $53. I have several Sieko and Citizen watches, and the SD doesn't disappoint.

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from amzwatch

A lovely Homage to a classic. I see a " copy" being one with an aftermarket seiko dial and sterile caseback. But i feel this is definitely a homage due to using their own name on the dial, caseback,watch clasp and crown.

my 1970 makes +1s pro day on table. on wrist making walk with dog(moving my hands, vibrations ..) it gains +6s pro hour. is that normal ?

I have the same model, looks great on the strap. Mine is losing a couple of seconds a month.

$14,900 for the name, $100 for the watch. I'll stick with my $120 SteelDive thank you.

The only thing still not quite right is the movement. The right subdial is a 24 hour dial that works with the watch’s actual time, and not part of the chrono complication, which makes it super redundant. To date, there isn’t a movement out there that replicates the chrono complication of the Speedy with the same subdial spacing. It’s a nice homage tho.

I had one of these and sold it. I regret that now and will probably get another. It's a fantastic thing. Top tip. Put it on a Milanese.

Very cool looking watch but 650$ is a bit too much for a quartz.

I have an Omega Seamaster, bought in 2001 for £1200. Look at the prices now. In 2020 I put it in for service and was offered a new Speedmaster for £4400. Look at the prices now. It's become ridiculous and frankly most of what you pay is advertising, franchise costs, celebrity endorsements and sponsorship. I've just bought this Pagani. It's a bargain. Imagine if they started to make them with a quality mechanical movement, hesalite.... it'd still be under £200.

Hey mate, 50 metres water resistant for $659! What a joke. I love the Bulova Sea King which has the same high beat movement for half the price. My Bulova Sea King has a screw down crown and 200 metres of water resistance. I bought it a year ago swapped out the rubber strap for a sail cloth rubber one and it is my best watch. So sadly until they make this one decently water resistant I wont be buying it. Good review though.

The turn of the 70s is evoked nicely by the angular case and the cool breeze block style of the bracelet. The red, white and blue exploitation of the US flag went into overdrive running up to the Bicentennial. Way too much here as well, so unless it is offered with a neutral colorway less the colors, I will pass.

I have just bought the NTTD watch and I absolutely love it and now Im looking at getting the Sumo after seeing it on here. There is something quite perfect about Heimdallr watches for me. Also got the Addiesdive Deep Sea Hunter and can vouch that it is a beautiful watch at a bargain price. Great video and a great channel

I ordered one and received it. So far I’m impressed. My only worry is how long this will last with daily use. Is this watch even serviceable or can I expect this to just be a throw away?

I just ordered the purple fumé dial on the jubilee bracelet because the purple helix dial was sold out. The white enamel was tempting. Also just ordered the purple Origin 38 because the pink and light blue ones were sold out. These will be nice additions to my collection. Just watched this review & at no point do you show the bezel action & is it 60 or 120 click.This is a major part of a dive watch & you failed to mention anything about it …..
