I own the Willard and the Speedmaster and I also recommend them. Lots of value for the buck. I also want to recommend the PD-1644 Daytona Panda homage.

For the Steeldive SD1953 they all rock (I have all of them) except for the green sunburst dial - the lines of the sunburst are really distracting and make it hard to read the dial. The sunburst for the blue is great as it's more subtle. The green bezel black dial and all black are also fine. Happy shopping!
Just got the SD1953 because I was on the fence but after watching your videos I’ve made the decision and can’t wait for it to arrive!
The Pagani speedmaster is a fantastic watch! If you get the red bezel version it’s also sapphire bezel and glass!
I've got the Willard homage it's fantastic , I bought the rolex homage for a mates birthday & was so tempted to keep it myself but I have an original Yachtmaster so didn't really need it . I bought the Phylida Moonwatch homage because it has a handwind chronograph movement as per the original . I've been wearing it fir about 6 months & it's awsome . Cheers

like you I am a passionate watch collector i bought the SD 1953 direct from Steel Dive outstanding watch I then found ALI EXPRESS and bought the SD1970 both the black dial face & the Hulk outstanding watches
put a French Marine Nationale strap on similar to your parachute strap keep up your great reviews all the best from the UK.

Good starter video, however I believe the green bezel black dial steeldive in your hands is the kermit, the green dial green bezel is the hulk. Have a good one mate and happy shopping in a few hours!

May I add one more: just jumped in on the 11.11 sale and bought an Escapement Time pilot with a VH 31 meca-quartz movement. Ticks like a regular mechanical watch, excellent lume, including the seconds hand and a sapphire crystal, for about $70 US.

@@TheWatchChannelAU you know, I was skeptical of buying from Ali, but I'm so contradictory that the first thing I bought was the Seestern 62mas and was blown away. I've been working the courage of buying more affordable bang-for-buck watches (already bought a Seizenn w12, and a dirt cheap Tandorio, with some Paganis in between), so I'm ready for the Willard. I am certainly no AE Virgin but I love your suggestions. I have many of them already (including the first three) and love filling my cart with my new Watch Easter eggs. One thing I have noticed on my SD1953 after a year, the lume on the chapter ring has faded and is no longer consistent. The hands and indices are still glowing bright. I think the lume on AE watches has improved a lot. I have 68+ watches and with this sale soon more.... Have a great sale!

There was a rogue batch that I heard of but I have purchased one recently and it was fine...I am sure it was only a short/small issue

I resisted buying a Willard Homage (I got the Watchdives version - probably a rebranded Steeldives) because I thought how good can it be for under $100. On its tropic FKM strap, my Willard Homage is probably now my favorite watch. Live and learn… I like the new intro BTW.

Got 1970 and 1953, also got a paganni daytona homage but lume is crap on it.
I know eh?...why don't they just put better lume on their watches....it's just such an easy fix!!
FYI, my PD 1701 has great lume; lasts till sunrise.

No originality, homage/fake/replica watches are tasteless. So many amazing and original watches that aren't trying to be something their not out there.

No doubt. You probably bought a Chinese - made device (homage to one designed in Japan) to make this comment. The money thus saved will help you to buy a hideously overpriced watch.

f**k the originality, i paid 300 bucks for a seiko and my steeldive with 80$ its much better, more accurate, better crystal, better bracelet...so yeah sometimes you only pay the name..
